They have strict check-out time.

No reception! Staff only on duty at breakfast
Great breakfast, WiFi and firm mattress
bit tired, but due to be renovated
location,and pub across the road
The shower was out of date and broken though we had a superior double. However, Once pointed out, they up graded our room at no extra cost
There was slight confusion where to check-in - we went to the Arundel at 3.30pm but could have come straight to the Ashley. Perhaps because of this the key card didn't work at first. The bedside lamp was not working but I didn't discover until bed time so just left a note in the morning. I thought the breakfast food was good but the coffee was very disappointing.
It was comfortable and convenient.
Inconvenient having to check in at parent hotel 400m away. Common areas looking a bit "tired" but refurbishment planned.
Good breakfast and comfortable room overlooking a neat garden. Parking spaces at back of property very convenient as parking in Cambridge is limited and expensive.
The location was in a very good position for the wedding we were going to at Jesus college. We were also able to leave our car in the car park the following day while we went punting on the Cam with the wedding party. Friendly and obliging staff. Clean room, comfy bed, good breakfast.
Limited staff on site and having to go a couple of blocks away to check in.
The location: easy access to the University
Room 10, in the basement right opposite the kitchens, we were woken at 6.30 by chatting and laughing. When we arrived we cldnt get in touch with the sister hotel to get our key. Receptionist come waitress not very happy!
Breakfast, friendly helpful young waiter. Very nice pub opposite serving good food.
large rooms. good breakfast. easy walk to city.
For EU continentals UK is very expensive... Choosing Ashley is a chance to make the best out of it
short distance to the city nice breakfast
Our details for checking in. We were requested to check in at Arundel, not very convenient when you are staying somewhere else. On our arrival we were then told we could have checked in at Ashley after all and we got an offhand response and no apology.
Friendly staff at Ashley, relaxed atmosphere, all we required for our mini break. We would stay there again.
Small bathroom. TV poorly located for viewing.
Car parking. Walking distance from City centre.
Nice lively area near to town and river
Even though I wasn't able to collect my room key and check in until after 10pm due to time theatre seeing commitments in town the Ashley Hotel sorted it perfectly. They have an excellent link with the Arundel House Hotel, just up the road a bit on Chesterton Road, and with just a short phone call the very helpful staff arranged for me to pick up room key and details from there after hours. A brilliant service and very nice hotel.
bed is 180 cm long, a bit short for my husband
comfort, clean, quiet, excellent breakfast
No shower, just a bath.
The lady who helped us at reception was quite nice and since our room was clean, let us check in a bit early. Also, it was quite a nice area, very close to the river and walkable into town (even though it was a bit of a walk, it was really pleasant).
Breakfast waitress people skills!! Timing of cooked breakfast...arrived while half way through cereal.Toast to be served with hot food not as you first sit down.
Good size room with all the facilities you might need. Clean and airy. Nice big window. Bed too sott for our preference. Good location.
A little point, at breakfast we were close to the kitchen and either the door to the kitchen was wedged open or there was no door at all - so we had full view of the kitchen and were exposed to lots of noise.
Very spacious comfortable clean room. Plenty of hot water and given that the outside temperature was below zero it was great to be in a room that was beautifully warm. Very quiet - all in all a great stay....... and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Great parking facilities as well.
Uncomfortable synthetic pillows
