Noise from lounge/breakfast room in the morning whilst still in bedroom

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

nothing really. possibly a bit far to walk to centre of bath but there were plenty of buses.

The warm welcome on arrival from staff and the quality of service they provided was excellent. We really enjoyed the full English breakfast. The locality of the guest house was quite handy to get in and out of the city centre either by car or walking. The guest house information that recommends places to dine out and places of interest to visit was very useful too, especially the tour of the Roman Bath and Thermae Bath Spa were both very good value for money.

Clearly we would choose a twin or double room to the rear of the guest house next time because our room faced the Newbridge Road and was a bit noisy during rush-hour traffic. Although this a little disappointing it was a minor inconvenience and didn’t detract us from a really nice two day break.

The owners were friendly and really helpful in helping to arrange sightseeing in Bath. Very clean and comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Family room facing the garden was quiet

Elias and Adriana looked after us wonderfully - they even upgraded us as we turned up early and our booked room wasn't ready. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was delicious and our room comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again!

A little bit further out of town then we'd realised, about a 20 minute walk.

Friendly service; excellent breakfasts (free-range eggs, home-made preserve, great coffee); fabulous bed(with proper mattress); clean.

The manager was helpful and courteous. The breakfast each day was very good. Room was tidy and beds comfortable

We were in an attic room accessed by very steep stairs with a narrow tread. My daughter slipped going down at night due to poor visibility and being unable to put her whole foot on each step. Very dangerous. Would not advise accepting this room.

When we booked the room it stated that is a small double room, it was small but very pretty and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast wad very good and the staff were very halpull.

The water flow in the shower was very poorly so had to spend ages showering.

Breakfast was excellent. Bed was very comfortable.

Lack of vouchers for Thermae Spa. I had asked about these the previous evening and been told to talk to the man in the morning, when I came to talk to the man in the morning I was disappointed to find out that he had already sold the vouchers to someone else. Television was rather annoying as the signal was intermittent.

Attention to detail, french jam and fresh fruit salad for breakfast, friendly adaptable staff.

We liked the friendly welcome given by the attentive staff. The room was fine for 2 people and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and even though the menu had a what appeared to be 2 cooked choices, these were interchangeable. Also complemented by continental style food as well. The local produce used tasted really good especially the sausages.

It was a bit cold in the room when we arrived although the heating was on so it soon got warm.

Friendly welcome, rooms ok had what you needed. Close to Victoria Park and nice walk into the centre. Good breakfast. It was my partners birthday and they left us some cakes and a note - nice touch.

I had a wonderful stay at Ashley Villa. The staff were excellent and were very accommodating. The facilities were great and the staff were happy to keep the bar open for as long as we wanted.

Very friendly, well-informed management (despite having been in Bath only a very short time). Exceptionally helpful in sharing local information, which made our stay especially enjoyable.

Minor quibble: the lighting in our room might have been a little more friendly - the spots on the ceiling were a bit harsh, and the lights over the bed were quite hot to have near one's head.

The staff and owners were nice and welcoming. the premises were in exellent decorative order. breakfast was very good. A big plus in Bath is off street parking,and because I have walking difficultes it is essential. When we next visit my daughter in Bath we shall indeed return to the Ashley.

My wife thinks maybe the towels need replacing, but thats about all we can criticize.
