I enjoyed my stay we all did
The en-suite was a tad small for a lad of my stature
The room was very small, backed onto a park and very noisy. The room was not cleaned, beds were not made on our first day. Breakfast was adequate. Would not return to this hotel. We travelled to Paris, London, Carlyle and Scotland and this hotel was not even close to the comforts of the others. I would not recommend to anyone.
it was close to oxford street and hyde park. bus stop on corner.
room was small and had 3 single beds squashed in. some electrical sockets did not work. you could hear people in other rooms. english breakfast was more like continental and tables were sometimes all full and you had to wait
Good location, 24 hr reception, secure luggage storage before and after departure, simple breakfast included.
Street noise in basement room (to be fair, probably no worse than similar hotels), malfunctioning shower and staff's inability to deal with it
Excellent location, right by paddington station
Very noisey, both from outside and others staying above in the hotel. Breakfast was continental only. Hotel made you pay up front when you just arrived
Friendly, helpful Staff. Pleasant atmosphere of Hotel. Fast, free Internet Service. Bright room. Excellent location. The Hotel provided everything I needed.
Very limited breakfast choice, within Continental options only. No elevator - I was on the fourth floor with a lot of luggage! Fortunately, the Staff were on hand to help me. Small shower/toilet room, although en suite.
The rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily. There were lots of channels on the TV. The shower was really powerful and always hot. The catering staff were very friendly. There are lots of lovely restaurants and pubs only 30 seconds away. Overlooks a park. Two minutes from Paddington Train Station and Underground which has tons of eateries, M&S, ATM's etc.
The place was more like a posh hostel than a hotel. The bathroom was so tiny that you can barely fit past the sink to get to the loo! The reception staff seemed not to know the layout of the hotel. Lots of stairs. No air conditioning. Noisy at night as close to some pubs.
The central locality, and the exterior appearance.
The fact that when it rained, the water came into room over the bed.the bathroom was only 70centimetres wide, you couldn't even dry oneself in room. Smallest room we have been in ever..No elevator, and had to climb four flights up, and another flight down for breakfast
Convenient for Paddington Station.
We had a view of some pipes and nothing else. Water was running down the pipes like a waterfall. The hotel was noisy. The room was very small and like a sauna. No air conditioning. Very dark room.
Clean & tidy. Staff friendly & helpful.
Bathroom /toilet/shower far too small. No adjustment on shower hot water flow. Bed too small.
tiny room, no air co, very avg amenities, no lift to 3rd floor
The building is lovely, good location, staff helpful. Would stay again next time if a few minor details were taken care of new net and the issues opposite. It's the little things that matter, we looked forward to a nice break away, just needs the little touches. Bed was lovely and clean. Please see to these and it will be perfect.
I could write my name in dust on lampshade base, didn't like that at all, the net curtain was very dirty needs replacing, the light bulb had gone so not good lighting. Good job we both were not bigger people as the shower and loo were tiny.
The position i perfect. 200 meters from the tube. Rooms with nice and confortabile beds are bright and quiet . The hotel is Facing a nice square with trees and very little traffic.
The bathroom was so small you could barely stand inside. The waterclose was mostly under the sink so you could not sit on it. Normally bathrooms are small in london but this was Unusable.
Staff mostly really nice except for men on the desk who were not all that pleasant. Beds comfortable Good pressure in shower Reasonable check in/out times 24hr access
No bedside lamps for reading at night A bit noisy Had to boil kettle on floor because the lead was too short Not enough electric sockets Ridiculously small bathroom- my daughter seriously bumped her head. Very slippery shower base. No lift. No separate conditioner
Location near Paddington tube and main line trains, plus local restaurants and bars.
Exceptionally small bathroom en suite. No air conditioning.
Location-right beside Paddington Station and on the lovely Norfolk Square
Everything else-the bedrooms were tiny including the en suite-the smallest shower ever! We were in a room on the top floor of the hotel and in July it was roasting as there was no air con. Also there was no lift and the stairways were narrow. The breakfast was only continental which was not good enough for the high price the hotel charges. Would not recommend this hotel
The location was convenient being so close to Paddington Station, the tour bus, Hyde Park and restaurants. It was very clean. Good value for the price if your only going to be in the room to sleep.
The staff was not friendly or helpful at all. We had a room on the first floor and we frequently heard a very loud door bang. The bathroom was extremely small; if your a larger person I don't see how you'd be able to sit on the toilet as you had to squeeze under the sink to sit down.
Location, location & location
Rooms too small, no AC, breakfast was poor.
They were very accommodating with holding the bags while we visited London before our flight. The breakfast was in a clean facility. The area was very nice and close to restaurants and tube station.
The single bed tilted to one side due to the soft mattresses or the floor. It was hard to get a good nights sleep since I felt like I was falling off it. The walls badly needed painting due to the marks and dirty handprints .
Great location, around corner from Paddington Station with all the transport available. Hotel was clean, staff friendly.
Only negative was the single room was tiny (I know London rooms are small but I could nearly touch both walls with arms spread out.
Nice friendly helpful eastern European staff.
The rooms are a joke. The bathrooms are so small that you have to limbo under the sink to be able to sit on the toilet -and then pitch your head over the basin. Men have to position themselves at an angle in the doorway to urinate. It's 'Being John Malkovitch' for real.
Rooms are clean and fresh. Well serviced. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Very close to Paddington station and hosts of shops. Easy walk to Hyde Park and canals. Nice shady park right outside.
No lift. No air conditioning.
some bady take my camera and many från my rum. It hapend for anther person.
