The staff were very friendly, and accommodating about our very early arrival at Glasgow Airport- allowed us to leave our luggage soon after 7 a.m, and check in a bit before the usual check-in time. |

The room was very comfortable and spacious with tea/coffee facilities, a beautiful bathroom. The stairs to the attic room were difficult to manage with a small overnight bag. |

This hotel was in a lovely location.Had a nice walk around paisley.Plenty eating placesWent to a lovely italian restaurant just around the corner from our hotel and the food was spot on.Got the train from paisley into glasgow to do some shopping on the saturday and the sat night we got the train back into glasgow where we went for a 3 course chinese meal at a restarant called the tao and we could not fault the food.It was a offer that was on for 15.95 per person and you also received a free glass of wine,The ashtree house itself is a lovely place to stay at.Our room was lovely .Staff very friendly and made u feel very welcolm.Breakfast was a full english and cooked fresh and very nice.I would recommend this hotel without a doubt. |

i visited Paisley for my graduation from Univercity of West of Scotland, i choose this hotel because of convinient location (close to airport , univercity, and within easy reach of glasgow center) and nice rooms, garden and peacefull enviroment.Facilities were excellent with plenty of rooms to have a tea, watch tv, read a book.. The best of this hotel was the friendly and polite staff of the hoels and the owners also. You get the feeling that you were living to a friends house. I definetetly recomment this hotel. |

Beautiful, comfortable room. Intimate bar/diner open for drinks, coffee and light, homemade meals. Quite, peaceful hotel. Contemporary design and very clean and tidy. Ample parking for all. Fabulous breakfast. Polite and helpful staff. Old building, therefore no lifts. We had to carry our heavy cases upto top floor ourselves (we are 2 women)! The last set of stairs being very narrow and awkward too. |

The hotel is in a quiet location with very little road noise. It's nicely designed inside making the most of original features with a patio area at the back. Small things but which make your stay more comfortable.1. no soap or bath gel. 2 no bathroom bin. 3 the website doesn't make clear that the hotel does not do dinner which was a surprise on arrival. If you are looking for a base from which to tour then this hotel would suit. My room was in the eaves and as there are a number of flights of steps it is unlikely to be suitable for disabled guests |

A beautiful, accurately refurbished hotel with the charme of a house built at the end of the 18th century. The owners were very very nice people who gave us a warm welcome. Good breakfast and lovely rooms in a real family atmosphere. |

I would not count this as a hotel but more of a guest house. The bedroom was perfect, even had a gas fire which was very welcome even during our stay in June. A mix of traditional and modern, design and comfort and a lovely homely feel. Owners very friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend it for those who want to be handy to Glasgow or explore the surrounding countryside. Probably the fact that it is in Paisely, first impression, a run down town but on closer inspection has more to offer and is a good base from which to commute easily to Glasgow or nearby attractions in the country. |

Quietness of the location, room size The hotel (actually it is a B&B) looks closed from the outside because there really is no sign on the door. |

owners very helpful with local knowledge and v friendly. Breakfast excellent, beds v comfortable, sypathetic decor, lovely garden.... on the day we checked out came down at 11.30 (long after breakfast finished) and would have been nice as a gesture to have been offered coffee/toast. Only a very minor gripe as everything else was excellent. |

The room was comfortable, clean and a bit different - not just a box without character. The staff were there if you needed them but not 'in your face'. Finally, breakfast was delicious |
