The ambience of the whole place was very welcoming and the Owner and her Daughter went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food good quality. A great location to get to Glasgow Airport which is why we were there. A delightful stopover.

Ashtree House Hotel is a wonderful hotel. We stayed for two nights instead of our intended one. All of the staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation. Nothing

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and make you feel very at home in the hotel - much more pleasant than a faceless hotel! The property and gardens are also lovely. My bathroom smelt quite strongly of damp which permeated into the bedroom.

I had business in Edinburgh for the four days prior. That hotel was more expensive and was no where near the quality of the Ashtree. Staff was friendly and food good, but rooms just sucked unfortunatley (other hotel). It was like going from the dungeon to the castle when I opened the door and saw my room at the Ashtree. Plus it was less expensive. Its location was nice and central, the staff was friendly, the food good. It had a bar that I did not try but still nice to have. Will definetly go back when my wife can join me too. Only minor addition would be to add a very small bar fridge in room. It is nice to have a beer or some snack when you get back from exploring.

This hotel is an excellent quiet retreat after a full days work where you can chill out and relax and also get an excellent evening meal. It is quiet but that for me is ne of the attractions Being really really picky I would say perhaps a larger TV in the room please.

The location was ideal for our trip as we were attending a party nearby. There could have been a few more teabags, coffee sachets, etc and the cups are too small!

I stayed there only one night last weekend. Room was very cosy, we have a small double room, view on garden :) . Hotel is in center of Paisley, easy access to main road (just walk down the hill - not even 50 meters), very good access to buses and shops. I was afraid that we will hear all cars on the road next to Hotel, but was very surprised we didn't hear any single one :) Hotel is on little hill, Has got a pretty view from dining room, and its a beautiful house, Its 200 years old, very warm as well. It;s a family run hotel and all people that we were speaking with, were nice to us. :)

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. This was quiet luxury in the middle of town and at the top of a hill. Prime reason I would return to Glasgow.

The food is very good. This has been residential accommodation converted into hotel bedrooms which are comfortable. There are no public rooms as such which means that it is a place to eat and sleep and nothing else. There is no comfortable bar area. It is a good location for business in the Glasgow area. The bathroom sinks are ridiculously small but I guess with limited space their is little else that could have been done. I am still awaiting a promised receipted invoice a week after my stay which is not great for claiming my business expenses

The hotel is lovely -- a beautiful Georgian house -- right in the centre of Paisley, and by the university and very close to Glasgow airport, but absolutely quiet and with beautiful grounds, so there is the sense of being in a countryside. The proprietors are extremely welcoming and there is the sense of being a houseguest in a private country estate or exclusive club. It's a small hotel, but by arrangement, they will prepare three course evening meals at a very reasonable price -- and the cooked breakfast is excellent. We are two women travelling together, and felt very secure and comfortable. Would definitely return again. The only real downside is that central Paisley is a nightmare for driving -- as it is a very complex system of one-way streets, and finding the hotel by car from the airport is a major challenge. On another occasion, we would take the hotel's shuttle or a taxi from the airport. However, the owner says that Paisley is going to address the problem and change some of the one-way streets to make it easier to get about later this year.
