Location is good, being so close to Paddington. I stayed in an apartmenr, rather than in the adjacent hotel. Ths apartments are entirely functional. They are not, however, in any way comfortable. The aesthetic is very poor in the apartments. You'd be forgiven for thinking that they had furnished your apartment from second-hand shops and hand-me-downs. The furnishings are an ugly collection of mis-matched and cheap items, ill-fitting and unattractive. But the apartment is functional. It has walls, a roof, a door, bed, kitchen, shower, toilet, but you won't feel comfortable.

The apartments were pokey, and the sofa looked like my dog had slept on it. The rooms were hot with no air-conditioning. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I booked a smoking "preference" but they have no smoking rooms so it is misleading. I hated this place, it's chintz and plastercraft muses in the uncomfortable reception. I would never stay there again and will use the Radisson Blu again next time.

Great location, large and comfortable suite for a shrt stay. All of Londons great shops nearby and a very short walk to and from paddington station and the 15 minute express to heathrow. Recommend it for anyone looking for value.' Breakfast was only just passable. I havent seen a warming tray with 200 rock hard boiled eggs before.

We had the ground floor apartment - single glazed windows, very loud traffic noise all night. Completely spoilt it - in the end I slept on the kitchen floor where it was a bit (not much) quieter. What's the point of paying anything for a room for the night if you can't even sleep? You need to provide your guests staying there with earplugs - or better still, get the placed double-glazed and up to 21st or even 20th century standards. Otherwise, it was fine. However I don't know whether the first floor rooms are any quieter. For that reason, I'm not recommending this to others.

Rooms were small but very adequate, kitchen had everything you needed. We spent more time out than in in so it really was just a base. The location is excellent being walking distance from 2 underground stations, and also there are bars, restaurants and shops nearby. We didn't need to speak to the staff much as everything was fine, but they seemed pleasant enough. We would stay there again, The breakfast is poor. The road is quite noisy at night, it was warm so we had windows open. But these were not big problems.

Location & quietness but my stay there was miserable I really don't recommend this hotel to any one. We reserved a studio .They put us in the basement which look like a grave. The pictures at booking.com are completely unrelated to reality.I Asked them to change our floor but they refused that as no availability. I wanted to cancel my reservation but unfortunately my booking was non refundable. The internet was only at the lobby. Even the tv was without remote control as you must put 10 pounds as deposit. The studio was very tiny & we couldn't even walk freely inside it. No variety in the breakfast. The hotel is completely worthless. I give them a 0 star.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment as a 4 person family & were really pleased with the overall space, in particular the lounge. The location was perfect for us as we travelled by train & was 5 mins walk from Paddington. Would definitely stay again as central for all London attractions. Spotlessly clean & plentiful towel supply. Entrance lobby quite grand; so much so that we thought we had the wrong place! Breakfast although plentiful was dull. Some fresh fruit or pastries would have been nice bur staff very efficient & pleasant.

The kitchen was nice. Very clean rooms? Great place if you need to catch an early train to Heathrow The fire doors between rooms made the bathroom and kitchen very hot and stuffy. It was warm in London when we were there so you had to keep the windows open. The housekeeper would always close the windows which made the room unbearable when we returned to the room at night.

My wife and I had a one bedroom apartment with large terrace, full kitchen with oven and microwave and of course bathroom. The full breakfast was included in the price of the room with a wide assortment of both cooked foods and cold and juice as well. We were quite happy with the staff who were both professional and friendly. The location was just two short streets from Paddington Station making it quite convenient for both the underground and the railroads as well as the Heathrow Express. My only complaint of the hotel is that the terrace was not cleaned upon our arrival. However, when notified, they cleaned it immediately making it very pleasant for morning coffee or an evening drink on the private terrace. We were on the top floor so the terrace was at the tree tops and quite private.

Location! And cleanliness! Our apartment gave us a comfortable home base while we visited the uk. The central location was wonderful for our plans. The cleaning staff made our stay relaxed and easy after our days out. Bravo to them! The front desk was responsive when our apartment had a small problem and informative when we needed printing services for our computer [see a suggestion below]. We're planning to return to the Aspen Apartments next year when we again visit the uk. The only thing that could have made our stay more convenient was the ability to print out our flight information at that location. The front desk helpfully directed us to a cyber cafe` on the next block. But, at 20:00 [9:00 P.M.] it would have been more convenient to print in-house.

Very friendly staff (Portuguese/Italian/Swedish and others) and reasonable breakfast. Good location - just down from Paddington BR/tube with plenty of nearby restaurants. Convenient too for Hyde Park Small rooms and fire doors on each room that had to be propped open to keep them from overheating. No aircon and no double glazing so windows had to be open at night and even being on the 4th floor the noise from traffic made getting to sleep difficult. I would not stay in this hotel in a London summer as with the lack of aircon and the problem with the firedoors it would be very warm. Also tv was really just a smallish computer monitor.

Location to Paddington Station was excellent, Just around the corner and close to bars and resturants. Pleasant short walk to Hyde Park. The hotel is immaculately clean with gleaming marble floors. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in the apartments. Everything was clean and well presented. Would definitely stay there again. The breakfast is very poor. Unless they can provide something of quality they shouldn't waste their time.

Location The no cancellation policy reflects the mindset for this hotel. My room was too small and the mattress was of very poor quality. The temperature in the room was difficult to regulate and it was noisy (noise from street). I think that this hotel is poor value for the money and would not recommend it.

Great location. Clean, comfortable and very friendly. 1. Breakfast was the same every day. Would have liked to see some pastries or muffins, fresh fruit, museli, yoghurt and marmite. Missed Sunday so maybe that day is different. 2. Being on a busy street it was quite loud at night. I wish there was a way to prop open the doors to the rooms as every door was on a spring and it's annoying to keep hauling open doors frequently. A door jamb would help. 3. Lastly, the shower head didn't seem to spray out enough water and it was hard to rinse off. We are not complainers but you asked!

Location near Paddington Station is ideal. Nearness to Hyde Park is also a plus. Since there were three of us traveling together on business, it made since to find an apartment rather than go through the expense of securing two hotel rooms. For that, the price was slightly better. The apartments are very basic with the nicest feature being the kitchen. Beds are uncomfortable and towels for showers are of poor quality.

The location is excellent. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. Wc didn't work properly. Small rooms and fire doors on each room that had to be propped open to keep them from overheating, even in November. Tv monitor was smaller than my laptop'S. Breakfast below expectations. Definitely not a 4-star hotel.

Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean, well- presented and comfortable. Very well situated close to shops and Hyde Park, though not too much noise from the surrounding roads. No high chair in room when requested at booking and asking twice in person. Only one high chair in the dining room which meant families had to wait for others to finish or have an uncomfortable breakfast for their little one.
