Shower didn't work
Excellent accommodation, clean welcoming and of very good standard and comfort. Would defiantly use again
Location was the key for this guest house choice & we were quite pleased. It was clean & tidy, we didn't use the lounge area but it looked inviting enough & the price was a bonus.
Whilst almost all was ok there are sound issues here!! We could hear everything from both rooms adjoining ours, telephone conversations, tv etc therefore they heard us too, very disconcerting. I was woken up by the sound of 'someone trying to get in our room' but actually it was the nextdoor rooms. Obviously sound is an issue when staying away from home but this was very audible to unacceptable!
Very quite room overlooking a garden. Very helpful staff and an honesty bar.
The young man who met us at the door was welcoming, friendly and efficient. He showed us to our room and the dining room and lounge and explained the honesty box system of drinks in the lounge. Every single member of staff we met engaged in conversation with a smile and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, so tasty and well cooked, organic and local sourced, so much better then the local superstore. Well done. We could recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you, Linda Barr
Breakfast was good
The room was shabby - poor standard. Evening meal overpriced. Wifi was next to useless. No chair or desk in room. Honesty bar a good idea but overpriced.
Stayed before and was excellent
Room this time had no bath and the shower control was broken so ended up too hot to use
Convenient location out of Guildford centre. Close to Warplesdon station with very fast train link to Waterloo. Friendly obliging staff. Will stay again.
Bathroom shower cubicle small.
A lovely friendly welcome, comfortable room with a nice view of the garden, and a delicious evening meal made the stay relaxing and enjoyable.
Clean room with comfortable bed. Lovely evening meal and breakfast. Staff we're very helpful and made my husband a sandwich when he arrived after the kitchen had closed. Honesty bar was a good idea and nice to be able to have a drink before dinner. Booked to go back in December when visiting Pirbright military base.
Rather bare dining room - needs some pictures or something. The food was very good!
Very clean, staff responsive to requests, freshly home cooked organic breakfast, nice décor, sitting room with an 'honesty' bar
At breakfast a member of staff was regaling the kitchen staff with tales of her exploits and all of us in the dining room were obliged to listen - not good! Also I had a street-facing room (at my request as it was lighter) but it was pretty noisy with traffic - recommend people ask for garden facing rooms.
We were greeted by a delightful young woman who couldn't have been more helpful. We were able to park right by the front door. The room was great, perhaps a bit on the warm side so had to keep a fan going through the night. Breakfast was fine. We stayed here because it was only a short drive (25 miles) to Heathrow. One of our best decisions.
It was quiet, clean, and the breakfast though not large was tasty.
The toilet seat wasn't fixed and you went for a sideways ride each visit! The wi if didn't work well except in the public areas
Staff very friendly. Loved the honesty bar. Will stay again
We felt as it we were at home. We did have a slightly more expensive back room. The breakfast was very pleasant. Most of all we were impressed by the capable and friendly staff.
Nice Staff Nice Food Nice Gardens Very nice room Great nights sleep
Welcoming staff Wonderful breakfast Very clean Attentive breakfast staff
Cosy room with only a double bed[we are used to King size. Warm night so windows open and could hear the fountain. Positioning of en-suite made for disturbance when facilities used during the night.
A lovely comfortable bed with lovely bedlinen and a nice ensuite.
Having to pay an additional charge for breakfast . Would also have liked more milk in bedroom.
Very polite and helpfull personnel. Quick to assist and resolve issues
Noise from neighbouring rooms.
The breakfast was very nice served in a lovely dining room.
Shower as is often the case needs some attention.
The garden and house were lovely
A bit too much noise from traffic and the garden fountain out the back
Loved the breakfast. Reluctant to pay £10 each as 6 of us were staying, but it was well worth it.
The rooms were very small and the walls were thin.
nice relaxing ,informal atmosphere, home from home
