The staff are so friendly. We were married at the hotel three years ago and just love the homeliness. This was a present from parents for my 40th birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Lovely, spacious 4 poster bedroom with Victorian features. The hotel was beautifully furnished and set in well kept grounds/gardens. The food was excellent and the serving staff very attentive. We were able to invite friends and family to join us for evening meals and drinks in the lovely dining room and bar. The bedroom, though beautiful, was cold and we never managed to get a hot shower.

It was a fantastic place to stay, we were up in Blackburn to see Spurs play and wanted somewhere nice to stay with nice food!! We could not have chosen better. Astley Bank was an excellent choice on both counts and it made the weekend a perfect break.

Beautiful gardens, nice setting and location is good. Large free car Park, free WiFi. Small Pokey room. No Elevator so had to carry bags up 2 floors. Hotel is catering for Business Customers and the peace and quiet of the nice English Breakfasts are ruined by large noisy Business Breakfast Meetings held simultaneously in same room.

The Hotel building is interesting and well maintained. The staff are all pleasant, accommodating and well informed. The food is interesting without being pretentious and is well prepared and served nicely. The Hotel gardens are realy beutiful and appear to have gardeners working constantly. Our overall experience at Astley Bank was restful and pleasant and we would stay there again. Our only criticism - the wardrobe / built in cupboard in our room was quite small and inconvenient to reach clothes at the back.

I love the grounds and the friendly staff. The building had character. I hope to come back and stay longer and enjoy the lovely gardens much more. It was disconcerting to find a female guest come down to breakfast in her pajama bottoms!! Really should have a stricter dress code.

Staff were wonderful, especially the very helpful night porter. Some floors are a very squeaky in places so, had the hotel been full I think we could have been disturbed early morning/late at night.
