Awfull. From when we arrived no bulb in corridor so could not see how to open door, room looked very tired but we can put up with this but then beds hard, when you empty the sink the water comes up through the bath and the smell from the bath plug hole was foul and surly cant be healthy. Try and sleep in that room my god might as well have slept outside the noise from traffic and people was very loud indeed. Breakfast oh my god it was i felt like a truckers road side cafe with plastic table cloths on the tables (never knew you could still get them) Tables not set very poor selection with a tray of cheap brown/white bread, selection of jams, no choice of milk just full fat, no vegiterian yougurts so we just had bread and jam. I was astonished to watch staff come into the dinning room with thier own cups take a tea bag and make thier own cuppa then come back out and take bread to make thier own toast to take through to the back (this using food ment for guests who had paid over the odds) Another staff member had an old tea towel full of holes and used an unlabled spray gun full of liquid and sprayed this liquid onto the cloth in front of the food them wiped the tables i was absolutly astonished i just had to leave it was distgusting. Can i leave my lougage we asked reception yes we could and she pointed through there first door on your left which was a store room no lock on the door and no tickets given for when you reclaim bags back anyone could walk in. We just left and paid £8.50 for each of our bags to be left at Euston station. We have stayed in a number of hotels in London as we go there 3/4 times a year and they have been fine along with a lovley cooked breakfast. I strongly urge people not to spend thier hard earned cash on this place as other hotels that cost the same would offer higher and more hygenic conditions.

The reception area looked modern and inviting thus raising expectations of our visit. Its location is brilliant and easy to get to the restaurants and shopping area. I have to say I was disappointed with my room. It smelt musty and smokey and the decor and furniture was dated unlike the reception area and the photos on your website. The continental breakfast was disappointing, normally one would have a selection of meats to choose from.

great location for oxford street. We stayed for two nights at weekend, saturday night being noisy outside no problem sunday night, the room was spacious enough for three people but could do with a bit of refurbishing. The breakfast room was a bit crowded and awkward to get out off as the tables are close to each other but the continental breakfast was fine although the toaster was very slow, the main gripe was the wifi cost £5 an hour would stay there again having said that......

After seeing some poor reviews I was a bit concerned, but the hotel was very good. The location was perfect for us, on a quiet side street 5 minutes walk from Oxford Street. As it was a bank holiday Sunday my friend was able to park directly outside the hotel. Our triple room was clean & comfortable and the bathroom clean. We had plenty of towels. There was tea & coffee making facilities & a hairdryer. Our room was on the ground floor but there was no street noise. The buffet breakfast was perfectly adequate for our needs, and again the room was clean. All in all we were delighted with our choice and would definitely recommend it for a central London location. The only thing was the room was a little bit warm but we didn't mind that.

Room and bathroom very poorly maintained with various damaged items and a complete mismatchof fitting. The entire room was in dire need of a complete refurbishment. Cleaning was not up to standard and I found bed sheets to be soiled on inspection! Breakfast was not a pleasant experience and was more like a youth hostel! I would not return to this hotel and would recommend looking elsewhere.

Very close to Regent Street for shopping and Harley street for appointment. Quiet rooms. A bit scruffy in places, Hated the plastic table cloths in the breakfast room. Shame as they hid nice mahogany tables. Breakfast was adequate.

My daughter and I stayed in Astor Court for two nights. Ideal location for Oxford Street and, as Oxford Circus underground station is just a few minutes walk away, Covent Garden and West End extremely easy to get to. Have stayed in the hotel before and would certainly stay again.

What I liked about the hotel is it's central location. I am generally satisfied with the breakfast, size and cleanliness of the room and the staff who were helpful. I did not like the fact that I could not take a shower since the shower head could not be attached to the wall bracket. The bathroom in general needs refurbishing. The toilet seat was broken and the cistern took excessively long to refill such that we had to wait for too long for our turn to use the toilet after it would have just been used. Also, the refilling of the cistern was very noisy such that we could hear the slow trickle of the water from the bedroom. This is the way we found the room and these were not fixed during our stay. I also did not like the fact that there was only space to hang some clothes in a closet and although we were three (family) we did not have any other space (drawers etc) to place our clothes and had to keep them in our luggage. Considering that we stayed for six nights, this was uncomfortable. I think that wifi service should be provided free of charge.

Comfortable for a few nights stay in central London, location being the best feature for me. Average accommodation, decor rather tired, but good shower and hot water facilities, helpful staff at reception. I had only one complaint, the buffet breakfast included in the price was very poor. After first morning I went out for breakfast locally, as even the tea and coffee from a self service machine was poor. A better breakfast would have made my overall impression more favourable and me more likely to stay here again.

Conveniently located between Oxford circus and regent park stations, room siZe is not bad at all compared to other hotels in central London, decent breakfast given the price paid. Staff are nice, maybe not too professional but sincerely helpful and friendly Overall it's good for young travellers I wish they had eggs on breakfast, eggs aren't expensive... The distance to nearest underground might be challenging for people who are less able to walk

Only the location, it is in the centre of London in a small street not particularly nice Very old and basic bedroom with a weird setting toilet on one side of the bedroom, bath at the other side (old appartment converted in different bedrooms); shower hose completely blocked (impossible to take a shower), tv with no signal as the antenna cable was broken.

location is excellent within vicinity of oxford street for shopping and hyde park or regent park for outdoor recreation even regent street and pica dilly circus are minutes away on foot hallam street is relatively quiet than many main streets which makes it ideal for residing in peace the hotel is basically clean and adequate for a reasonable stay especially for someone spending most of the day and night in leisure strolling or even business engaments and wants to end the day in a well centered location and cosy place. breakfast is very limited for continental only with no options for other freshly prepared food even at an additional price

The room was nice, and the location perfect for visiting Oxford Street and its surroundings. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The toilet and bathroom were separate rooms, which meant that the room with the toilet was freezing cold and the bathroom steeming hot after a shower because of no ventilation. The TV didn't work, but we didn't need it.
