The toilet is small.
Accommodation very poor, shower was broken could use bath due to enamel chipped off n sharp , toilet separate from basin
Location, bed, service, rooms, warmth
Location only. Apart from this the price is a rip off!
Despite booking the hotel 2 months in advance there were problems. They insisted on getting paid one day in advance and made several phone calls. I was busy and found all this an unnecessary hassle. There were further problems booking out which delayed matters once again. One staff member was very difficult. We would not stay here again.
Value for money Helpful staff Good sized room by London standards
Unable to connect to WiFi even though signal strength was good.
Location and spacious rooms
Hotel a bit worn. The price for accomodation has risen over the years. So a bit pricy - you get spacious rooms and great location and pay for it.
Location Price Nice size hotel
No cooked breakfast Bed was a bit hard for me
Great location just a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus tube and the main shops in Oxford Street.
Our ground floor room (number 6) did not have double glazing so there was a lot of noise from outside. The hotel also sits above one of the tube lines and you could easily hear them very three minutes or so.
Free Upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 friends. Great Welcome.
Excellent location - close to tube, Oxford St & Regent St but very quiet. Booked room for three adults, got two bedrooms. Very clean.
The location and the price was the main reason I chose this hotel - significantly cheaper than a four star hotel in the same area, and a larger room to boot! The girls staffing the desk were always helpful and smiling which was wonderful.
The bed was a bit lumpy and the room and decor clearly outdated. However it was clean and warm, and you get exactly what you pay for.
Visited with my 2 adult daughters, we were upgraded at no extra cost to an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchenette, lovely surprise, staff helpful and location perfect for shopping and seeing the sights, quiet at night despite Central london.
Hotel was perfect only comment would be needs updating but still very comfortable and good valour for money
the breakfast was very uninspiring Why not offer to heat up the croissant? Offer some cold meats? It was worse than I remember it
We stayed over one night after a work party in a nearby (very expensive) hotel. It is near all sorts of shops and has good transport links. The people on reception were very friendly and helpful.
We heard traffic all night (not unusual for this area), and the beds were on the soft side.
Staff and location was excellent
Room smelt musty and couldn't open the window
Receptionist very helpful. Room was huge and I got a free upgrade.
No full English breakfast. Dislike continental style breakfast, dislike self service breakfast facilities. Dislike having to prepare my hot drink from a machine and cook my toast myself.
Location. Comfy room
There wasn't a cooked breakfast in the morning and the price l payed for my stay l would of thought that would of been on the menu
Excellent location, spacious comfortable rooms with good water pressure in the shower - usually hard to come by in central London!
Some noise, vibration from the subway during the night
Being near oxford street but away from main noise.
In general everything was good.
The breakfast could have been better.
Good location. Very clean although a little tired. Friendly staff. Average breakfast. Very quiet. Would stay again.
Breakfast room 2 was not as good as room 1 as I discovered on leaving. Room 1 had more on offer.
Staff very helpful
Couldn't have breakfast because I had to leave at 6.15 in morning to be at broadcasting house for 6.30 to man phone lines for Children In Need.
Location Good sized triple room Nice white bed linen and towels Loads of hot water Friendly helpful staff.
location, service and cleanliness
Shower rail fell down a couple of times and sink needed updating/renewing
