The staff were warm and friendly The hotel was well situated for accessing the Winter Gardens We will certainly consider staying there next year

once again val, tony and the girls did us proud ,from the time we arrived till the time we left we were looked after rooms great value and spotless,great location for everything,breakfasts really filling full english of course,plus cereals yogurts n fruit ,choices for all tastes, we went for the new year break about 16 of us and no complaints at all, many thanks ASTORIA mark,marlene and the gang

Fantastic friendly and first class service - they really look after you. Terrific value for money and in a good location. Very comfortable nicely furnished room and generous hospitality tray. Excellent breakfast.

En suite shower room a little cramped as large sink. (However I did feel luckly to have an en suite at price).

Staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast was fab, lovely and clean rooms, nice bar area and dining room. A few minutes walk to Winter Gardens / Opera house and the town centre. Would definately stay here again when in Blackpool.

Nothing much just the location.

Dirty bedroom, there was a lottery ticket near the bed from 3 months ago, cobwebs in the bedroom and in the dining room. There is an underlying smell of dog as you walk into the hotel along with shake n vac and if id known there was a dog there I wouldn't have stayed as I have an allergy to dogs! The dining room was cold in the morning 'because' the person cooking breakfast was hot?? The heating was only switched on whenever the owner wanted it on, I mean it's November and she said she had forgotten to put the heating on at 5pm but she was wearing a jumper and scarf!! The bathroom was so small, you can only just turn around in it. Someone must have been smoking either from outside near the kitchen or the bedroom next door as this is what we could smell first thing in a morning.....minging!!The floorboards are so creaky as well, we had kids running around above us Saturday afternoon just as we wanted a sleep and first thing Sunday morning!!!! The owners didn't even introduce themselves! Oh and the lottery ticket was a non winner just like the Astoria!!!

This hotel is right in the middle of Blackpool. I was on my own and was put in a double room, so this was excellent for me. Kettle in room with coffee/tea etc. Excellent Breakfast. Good for £30.00 per night. See you again Astoria.

We arrived as a group of four friends in four single rooms , we found the Astoria warm, welcoming a real home from home lovely hosts, we all feel we made new friends the breakfast was excellant as much toast and tea coffee as we wanted, after reading a negative report on this hotel about bad food and dirty carpets I feel that the reviewer should check they had the correct hotel because we all felt that it could not have been the Astoria we stayed in a lovely experience that we all agreed we would certainly repeat many thanks to val and her husband for welcoming us into their home.

We loved our stay in the Astoria, the location was ideal for us, close to bars, restaurants, shops etc. The hotel was lovely and clean and rooms were tastefully decorated. A great family run hotel, very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks for everything. We would definitely stay in the Astoria again.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms was decorated very modern and stylish. It was also very clean. The breakfast was excellent and we had a variety of choice from cereal/ fruit/ or full English. Would happily stay here again

Stairs! No lift!

The staff were wonderful; friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the hotel was warm and clean. The beds were comfortable and the linen was spotless. It is in a fantastic position for the Tower, the beach and the shopping centre. A bit far from the Pleasure Beach, but very easy to access by tram.

The room was quite small, a very odd shape and the en-suite, though adequate (just), was tiny.The decorations at the Hotel were very dated and our wardrobe was broken. The en-suite has seen better days and I think a re-vamp to the whole place would be a bonus. However, it was adequate for our stay and an insignificant issue when matched against the fantastic welcome etc.

The staff at the Astoria was very friendly and helpful. If they could accommodate a request they would. There was a group of us there for a small dancers re union and the two of us that stayed there, have and would recommend it
