The service of the waiter in the restaurant was really bad!!!
The bathroom was tiny and there was a lot of noise.
Location is very good. Clean hotel.
No lift. Some rooms are too small
Small room and noisy
Location was perfect, close to tube and Hyde Park. Breakfast was good.
Hotel is very noisy, I could hear people snorring in the hotel next door. I was next to the breakfast room and could follow conversations literally from 7am. My bathroom was incredibly small, rather unpracticle. I think the price is too high for what you get.
Noisy, cramped and dated.
excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean apartment, no lift as in most hostels, but it's not a big problem
coffee, it must be stronger... but! There is excelent cafe near the Paddington - it helps ))
Location is very central to attractions andn underground stations. Good value.
No bedside lights so had to get out of bed to turn the light off. No remote control for the TV and when asked for one, a random control was taken out of a cardboard box without any batteries. With batteries - it didn't work. The sockets fused during the evening no power until I reported it to reception. Kettle spilled more water on floor than stayed in it as it was a full size kettle that had to be filled in the hand basin.
Good Location, Wi-Fi worked fine, pretty clean, breakfast not bad at all, staff very friendly and helpful, room had what you needed in it and bed was relatively comfortable.
Room could have been a little cleaner, bathroom door was tricky to open and shower temperature a little erratic, view of bin bags out the window could have been better.
The staff friendly, the beds made daily, everything clean, a great low price, and even better location makes this hotel wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better place to sleep in between adventuring in London.
Friendly staff. I explained that we were elderly and unable to carry suitcases up several flights of stairs so receptionist gave us a room on the ground floor. Following morning manager? owner? arranged our transport to Victoria station. Thank-you for doing that. Only a few minutes walk to Paddington station so location is good. Ten minutes walk to Hyde Park also. Comfy beds. Handy to small shops and eateries.
Tiny bathroom! Almost not enough room to have a shower without falling into the toilet! As we were only staying one night we didn't have one!
room was congested
Compact room, fine for 1 night. Great breakfast-freshly cooked. Comfortable bed.
ı stayed ın thırd floor. there was no elevetor. and the stairs are very uprightgoing room was lıke clımbıng the mauntin
Great location Very very friendly and helpful staff Quite clean for such an old building Comfortable bed We stayed in a 4-bed room and it was big enough Breakfast was okey as well
Some problems with wifi
Good size room for 4 person party Great location for Hyde Park gig Good breakfast Friendly, helpful staff Clean room with towels and tea/ coffee replenished
Very noisy room due to single glazed, I'll fitting windows and positioned right on a very busy road. Room also above entrance so smokers congregating right underneath. Birthday celebrations and fireworks right by enterance at 3am!
No frills but clean, friendly and helpful.
the online price for two nights was exellent.
the hotel was a fair way out of the centre but cab fares were very high.
helpful staff clean room - even if it was small breakfast included in price - and there was possibility to choose from english or continental breakfast perfect location
Comfortable bed. Very reasonable breakfast.
Small room, tired fittings
Good location for tube.Very clean rooms.Good breakfast provided.Staff helpful.Easy to check in and out of.
Good location - just north of Hyde Park, west of Oxford St, south of Paddington station. Relatively cheap by London standards, although you get less even than what you pay for.
Paid for a double bed, got two singles. Tiny room, no air conditioning, no iron, hair dryer didn't work. Entire room was on a slope -- dangerous building construction. Up four flights of rickety wooden stairs, no fire escape. Very stiff, uncomfortable beds, lumpy pillows. Incredibly hot room with no airflow despite a cool week in London. Incredibly tiny bathroom - smaller than an airplane cubicle. Breakfast hours (7-9AM) are terrible.
small beds with old mattresses
No shower bracket to hold shower head. On reporting it to reception the man just frowned! No understando! Also tv had a mind of its own!! Only had to stay two nights though so just put up with it. Breakfast was nice & staff was helpful.
