great location,just right
location was ideal for our trip
small rooms but sufficient for a one night stay
Excellent location, After spending many hours finding a hotel for our trip to London. i booked two nights here. We had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return. The bedroom and shower room are not huge, But perfectly formed and very clean.
The breakfast room Is small but we managed adequately.
dinning area too cramped .Basement stairs rather steep an extra hand rail at the top of stairs needed
Close to Victoria Station
Room was hot Air con didn't work properly. Toilet kept blocking up Breakfast area was too small for all the guests.
Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, reasonable price including breakfast. An excellent location being very close to Victoria coach station, in a quiet street, having bank, Sainsburys, chemist, cafes and restaurant very near by and also the glamorous Belgravia on the doorstep. Suited us perfectly.
The room was a bit small but it worked for us and the staff and great morning breakfast was very nice. Everyone was as nice as could be and we would probably stay there again. Great Place. John from Lake Forest, CA
Nothing comes to mind.
Staff courteousness and response.
The location Fabulously comfy bed
lack of cool air tea supplies not replenished air con unit very noisy
Perfect location when you travel With a coach 2 minuten from THE coach station walk, friendly personal and everything you find within a 10 minute walk.
THE breakfastroom is a little smal for this hotel ,THE breakfast is Nice.
Hotel was located centrally to where we needed to be. The price was fair and the rooms were clean and well presented. I would not rate the rooms as large but perfectly adequate for a family of 3. Overall a good experience and although there are some negative comments, I would still recommend this hotel as it is good value for money and nicely located for the museums, passport office, etc.
If you have any mobility issues make sure you ask for a ground floor room as there is no lift to the upper floors. We were on the top floor which was a killer on my wife's knees - having to stop on the way up. There was no offer to assist with luggage to rooms and I had to assist an elderly lady with her bags in the morning. I did not enjoy having to pay £5 per 4 hours Wi-Fi per device. With a requirement to do some work, and my son wanting to use his Ipad on Wi-Fi, I could not connect all my devices on a single purchase. With current day broadband costs, even a dedicated broadband solution should be absorbed as a cost of doing business or at very least make it attractive to guests by pricing it right. 17Mb Download speed with unlimited downloads on a 24 month contract with TalkTalk business broadband would cost £4 per month so I paid for multiple months in 1 night. -
Nice hotel in a good location.
Narrow stairs and no elevator.
When trying to get three in a rm was to crowded. staff the next day gave us better rm. breakfast was good. Location is great. The two women on duty were so helpful and always wanting best for guests.
Initial guy on counter was very unhelpful, paying for terrible internet is outrages when you can go anywhere and get good free wifi.
The foul in the bathroom which would not go away
Loved the location and the staff. Room was great!
AC did not work properly, and the stairs down to the room were not child friendly at all!
Very clean, staff very courteous and pleasant (arranged our open top bus tickets and taxi back to Heathrow). Excellent value for money as breakfast was included and it was a good breakfast. The location is quiet and close to Buckingham Palace/Hyde Park/Knightsbridge. 10 mins walk from Victoria tube/train/bus
We shared a room for three and the pull out bed was a little hard, fifteen-year-old son was in it and he's possibly a little big but it meant it was much cheaper than having two rooms so not really complaining.
The location of this hotel was perfect. Short walk to victoria station and to buckinham palace. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was modest but just enough to fill up for a day of sightseeing.
The staff was incredibly helpful and service minded. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Good continental breakfast with many choices and baked beans/sausage/scrambled eggs (which we didn't expect). We would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast area were quite small and therefore full during some times in the morning. This was never a problem for us though.
Great location, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, ensuite bathroom
Same breakfast everyday, no refrigerator in the room (would've been nice). Overall, not much I didn't like!
Location, price and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c was nice and cold once we got the remote control for it from the receptionist.
We had to walk up a lot of stairs to get to our room. The room was very small. We stayed 2 nights and after the first night we were not given additional bottles of water or shortbread to have with our tea. Also no washcloths, but I understand this is the norm for countries outside of the United States,
Good for staying after a long day in the city. Breakfast was good although the dinning area may become a little too crowded. Rooms are quite small but not that bad if you spend only evenings and nights inside. The hotel was quiet and the staff helped with any questions we had, didn't mind that we ate our lunch in the dinning area before leaving the hotel, let us use luggage room and provided an adapter when asked. The room was clean; hand towels and bigger towels were provided as well as shampoo, hand soap, shower gel...
The hotel is overpriced for what you get (like most hotels in London are). No free wi-fi (you get free half an hour once you arrive - but ask for the password as the staff doesn't mention that), no lifts if you happen to get a room on the higher floors. Our window was facing patio which wasn't the most entertaining view.
Where it is The room in general It was a sensible size Useful air conditioning
2 plumbing issues, blocked basin and very slow to empty toilet. Having to pay for a very very slow Internet service. The breakfast facilities
Below street level room, but large and airy
There should be free cancellation
nice and clean look of the room.
the breakfast: coffee undrinkable, light brown water, also the so-called espresso. Horrible stale breadrolls etc, horrible sausages, no bacon. Everything the cheapest. At the price of about 140 € per single person per night inacceptable food. Old carpet.
