It is very close to local amenities & parking is quite good.
The rooms are very basic, you share a bathroom with all other guests, the house is in a poor state of repair as it is in the process of being renovated.
Cool and comfortable
Friendly owner. Relaxed atmosphere.
Had to wash the crockery for breakfast first as it was not clean.
Location was good (for me)
For me it was about location and that was great. The owner was helpful and allowed me my space.
Would have liked the house to be a little more spruced up in the kitchen area especially. This would attract more visitors. I overlooked this as I went out most of the time and was only looking for a reasonably priced place to lay my head in the right area.
Location, facilities, service
The welcome feel, helpful and very approachable staff, freedom of the kitchen for an anytime cuppa and snack.
Great atmosphere, peaceful and quiet
Bathroom had no soap or shampoo
Bob was really kind and his artwork is great. He is developing a very nice bed and breakfast. I would stay there again. Very comfy and cozy especially for the price.
It was a treat to be in such an interesting artistic house. I liked the DIY breakfast arrangements. I can imagine that some other guests might not.
The location was good near to tubes and buses . Fir the money it was good value .
friendly athmosphere, well located near airport.we were welcomed as friends and thats the feeling all times.thank you bob.
We liked the style of this house, the layout of the room, the breakfast very much and the access to public transport and the balcony and the nice owner Mr. Osborne
the problem with flushing the toilet
The feel of the place, you are staying at someone's home. You have space which is rare in London. Bed was very comfortable. The decoration, and art were really nice.
It was a bit noisy outside when the other guests were up early in the morning.
Bob was a great host. Very friendly and flexible. The property itself is wonderful, decorated with the owners own artwork and personal touches. Very pleased with our stay.
The bedroom itself was clean and spacious
The bathroom facilities were not clean and the toilet didn't flush properly meaning these facilities weren't really useable and we went else where for this
Liked the kooky artwork and the location was convenient and near some great cafés. Owner very flexible with arrival/departure arrangements.
Toilet needed fixing and the place in general should be a bit cleaner.
Excellent location, atmosphere and facilities. Would recommend anyone to go.
The room was clean and wifi connection was good.
The location of this property was very confusing, even the taxi driver was afraid to knock the door because he said It's a housing area. The owner, Bob was very aggressive and he was very irritating. He keep on asking us to keep quiet, and for your information it was not that loud! We had to whisper and when we walked of course there are noise coming from the floor boards. We were afraid to do anything, even to take a shower (shared bathroom) because he came and knock the door because I was pressing the flush button( for him it's very loud and will disturb others) what the?? So we decided to leave the next morning, maybe it's a good place stay for couples, not for other travellers.
I was late arriving but was welcomed by the owner, and made to feel at home straight away. This is a very informal arrangement, and I was pretty much left with the run of the place. If you are looking for a hotel with waiter service and napkin rings forget it. At home is just that - you are staying in a small house on a very quiet residential street, and it feels like a home from home. Breakfast is a matter of helping yourself, and using the facilities as they are. I loved the whole concept of the place. Simple, convenient and very affordable. Would definitely use again.
close to the underground, nice neighbourhood, can use the kitchen and washing machine, flexible staff
Bob the host is very helpful. His art is really great and all around the house. As the title says, it like staying at home. Breakfast is what you want to make. I was happy with tea and fruit juice but had a choice of cereal, toast, eggs etc. My room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom just across the hall.
A breath of fresh air. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and a home so wonderfully fun.
was cheap and where we wanted to be
nobody there to give us a parking permit. 2 beds pushed into one for a double room. not enough hot water
The owner was nice and relaxed and helpful, the house has lots of interesting art
