The staff were amazing and the decor is fabulous! We also were given complimentary breakfast at the end because it was out anniversary stay! What a wonderful place.
Good and friendly staff, excellent location, good bar, Nice rooms
Sauna is outdated and not stae of the art.
The location is very convenient if you are after sightseeing, Wi-Fi is free, and the hotel has several nice restaurants downstairs
When I checked in I provided a different card (from the one I used for booking), and the same amount was blocked as a result on both cards. But the staff was very helpful and polite.
Free gym Room Location
Not sound proof
As usual, the service was excellent
The corridors and rooms in my floor were very old and not upto the standards I expect from Taj. Not enough people at the reception. I had to wait 10 minutes once for someone to attend to me.
Spacious room with ensuite-upgraded to suite Good room lighting and mirrors. High housekeeping standards. Convenient location of hotel Flowers outside and arrangements inside.
Bistro 51 rather cramped for breakfast. Scrambled eggs overdone-should be made to order.
Excellent staff Comfortable public area
Single room was located in a separate building across the courtyard, the room was quite old, too expensive for the quality you get
the location,the breakfast,the staff
the room was small the bathroom was tiny the view from the room was terrible
We did not get the promised paper delivered on Sun morning.
Lovely location,1st class hotel, staff were wonderful and attentive to your every need, happy ,polite staff who couldn't do enough for you, would recommend to anyone, thank you.
My credit card was accedently charged twice and they charge 100 pound deposit nightly to stay there.
Lovely large room Very attentive staff Excellent breakfast
No notification from Booking.com or the hotel of building work adjacent to hotel. There is noise from nearby underground which can be obtrusive.

The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely nice. The hotel is at a walking distance of many major attractions. Three restaurants within the hotel.
there were pubic hairs from the last resident in the bathroom and the staff lied to me about my booking giving me a substandard room for what I PAID FOR
small beds no windows at some rooms the furniture and room is very old - needs renovation
location, style, comfort, staff
Initially given room 582 with terrible position, miles from reception with another part of the worst part of the hotel immediately facing our windows, less than 2 mtrs apart.. truly awful. Then given another room with open view of courtyard.. 'upgraded' to rm 430 but it was the smallest available 'executive' room. Rather a poor experience after recent stay at Taj Palace Mumbai. Banks restaurant: service good but food average to poor. How can such a place have no scallops, no squid.
- Everything but the staff.
- Advice: be very careful not to leave items in the room after checkout (duh). I left an item at the hotel and had to call 6 times, every time being informed they never trash valuables in the room and that I would receive a follow-up call. Eventually I just assumed that they had lost my item.
The hotel is beautiful in Reception and the staff very helpful Everything you need in the room and quick service
The room was very small and an odd shape. Very cramped for two and we were up in the Gods on the 8th floor. Ok as we were out for the theatre but would have asked to move if we'd have had more time. I am sure that other rooms were bigger ? I kept slipping down the bed ! But it was quite comfy.
Staff very very nice, prompt and helpfull. Bed very confortable. Inside garden beautiful. Nice lobby. Good to receive people. Perfect business center. Great staying. Will go back
the view from the room…better than before Piano jazz in the lobby good greetings and help at concierge
The noice in the room was terrible as if sleeping in the subway.Curtains did not close properly.
This was a beautifully appointed hotel in a great location with first class staff. I have no hesitation to recommend it.
Location, friendly staff, beautiful lobby, nice coffee tray in room
The room just looked a little worn.
