Stayed 2 weekes apart first visit was fantastic and cheeper second visit was a world apart and more expencive. The differeance should be reflected in the price.
Staff were extremely courteous and the rooms very quiet and peaceful for such a central location.
Breakfast room was cramped and the temperature control in the rooms needs fine tuning.
Staff great . Food great. Location ideal.
I like the room ,the proximity to popular things to see in Londonand the service
On two evening the courtyard was used by outside function and the music was loud all the way in our room .On those two evening the hotel guest could not use the courtyard and it's facilities.
We loved the room. The size and comfortable bed. The room was light and airy everything shone and cleanliness was second to none! everything was supplied iron, board, hairdryer, safe! also coffee teas etc. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in the privacy of our room,
There was 'nothing' we didnt like!
Location Bar and restaurant
Room on 1st floor noisy in the morning due to building work and service yard Room needed a little attention but good value for money
Location, Reception, welcome, rooms. Everything
Can't fault it.
Spaciousness Availability of good restaurants Quiet rooms
Staff somewhat "stretched" at times affecting wait in bar and for breakfast
Only a very short distance from St James Park tube station. Very close to Buckingham palace etc. Very professional approachable staff very clean
No dislikes at all, and I am very particular
This was great! A few extras we weren't expecting.
This may be standard practice anyway.
Sewage in the bath tub.
Location, Style,Friendly service.
Wanted to be close to Victoria Station, and this lovely hotel fitted the bill. Also close to Buckingham Palace, Green Park etc, all within walking distance.
Didn't find anything to dislike!
Location Staff Courtyard
size of room dirty wallpaper Dirty stairways Poor design of rooms
Historic building. Common areas were excellent. Service was excellent. Bistro and bar food was excellent.
Rooms were very small. Rooms need refurbishing.
Very helpful staff Great little seating area in the garden where you can just have a drink
Elevator is tiny and hard to fit luggage
location was great and close by to the underground station
Bathroom was very small
Lobby and inner courtyard was lovely. Location is excellent.
Our room was kind of shabby. The bathroom was updated, however. They also loaded the wrong luggage into our cab which cost us time and money.
great location, clean, pleasant and professional staff
walls are paper-thin--heard conversations in next-door room, malfunctioning elevator, towel warmer gave off bad smell, restaurant was way too expensive
location, location, location staff very friendly and efficient great food
construction under way right in front of our window, the noise was terrible. Good thing we were on and about during the day. Couldn't get a room with a shower for my mom who is unable to step into a bathtub. And her room was rather small for a two person room at the price we paid for.
We loved the location, the gorgeous courtyard, the feeling of being surrounded by a quiet hamlet, the huge room, our veranda overlooking the courtyard. The conceirge services were wonderful. We especially loved Leo.
Location, helpful staff
Next time we are in London, we will stay there again. From that hotel we were able to walk all over London . Great location
The Executive King room we had, although a smoking room, was very nicely appointed with a great view if the courtyard. We certainly would request one of these rooms again.
The Classic double room we first had, was not worth the money. It was very small, had not been redecorated, and the view was horrible.
