The lobby of the hotel was beautiful
We were given a very small room at the end of a long gloomy corridor-there must have been better standard double rooms than the one we were given and, on leaving, I complained at the desk. The cocktails were also very poor and fairly tasteless we really have had better.
Room, Location, Food & Staff are all of the highest quality. We stayed only for the night but in that short time really felt like a valued customer.
Heated towel rail didn't work but didn't mention it so cant blame the hotel.
Staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble
Location Good value for money Excellent friendly staff Great restaurants on site close to Victoria and Underground
poor (free) wireless internet in room difficult to connect to.
Stayed in room 616, more than big enough for two, travelled with my 16 year old daughter and we were both very happy! Comfortable large bed, plenty of storage space, helpful staff. Excellent
Couldn't work out how to work the room temperature controls but would have asked if it had been important. Instructions in the room would have been helpful though. This room has no view which didn't matter to us but might be important to others.
Staff very polite and attentive Bed very comfortable Room clean
Wifi in our room didn't work, in all fairness we did not inform the staff at the time as we spent little time in the room. Could hear rumblings from the underground trains even though we were on 6th floor!
Fantastic location for sightseeing and shopping. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings within the hotel. The flowers and greenery all around made it even more agreeable to stay here. I will be back.
Standard buffet breakfast is a let down. The standard coffee was cold and limp - ask for a latte or cappuccino - they are brill!
Quality of service and staff. Clean and comfortable Style and quality of decor.
Breakfast is over-priced.
The Hotel is located within walking distance of all the iconic and Historical places, only a 3minute walk to Buckingham Palace and 10 to Westminster Abbey ,on a quiet street
Staff were extremely helpful, polite and smiled! Room had everything we needed and lovely crisp sheets
Location is great. Restaurant is brilliant. Good food. Great services.
Rooms and corridors are very out-dated. It definitely needs a reform.
An oasis of calm in the middle of London. But what makes this hotel really special are the staff, they are superb.
Friendliness, service, spacious and comfortable bedroom.
Time taken to reach bedroom although a short cut going through the courtyard was later suggested. No heating the first night later found out this was due to a dirty/blocked filter which was immediately cleaned and heating restored.
I was attending a conference in Central Hall Westminister, so the location was ideal. Smart hotel in a lovely building, good bar, friendly staff, good bathroom, very comfortable.
Room was on the small side, though bathroom fine. Check in took a while - perhaps desk slightly understaffed.
Booked this hotel as a special offer so price was good.
However on arrival I was given a room at the back of the hotel with no view. As I was on business it didn't really matter but I would have been bitterly disappointed if this was a weekend break with my wife. The view was non existent and the room was dated and a bit drab and certaintly didn't live up to the photos on line.
The staff were amazing and the decor is fabulous! We also were given complimentary breakfast at the end because it was out anniversary stay! What a wonderful place.
Location, staff, value for money
room poor quality, heating not working, vibrations from underground ,hair dryer not working, distance from elevator, twin bed room not king as booked, access from victoria difficult due works, and... booking.com miss presenting room as last while it was not.
Good and friendly staff, excellent location, good bar, Nice rooms
Sauna is outdated and not stae of the art.
The location is very convenient if you are after sightseeing, Wi-Fi is free, and the hotel has several nice restaurants downstairs
When I checked in I provided a different card (from the one I used for booking), and the same amount was blocked as a result on both cards. But the staff was very helpful and polite.
Free gym Room Location
Not sound proof
As usual, the service was excellent
The corridors and rooms in my floor were very old and not upto the standards I expect from Taj. Not enough people at the reception. I had to wait 10 minutes once for someone to attend to me.
Spacious room with ensuite-upgraded to suite Good room lighting and mirrors. High housekeeping standards. Convenient location of hotel Flowers outside and arrangements inside.
Bistro 51 rather cramped for breakfast. Scrambled eggs overdone-should be made to order.
Excellent staff Comfortable public area
Single room was located in a separate building across the courtyard, the room was quite old, too expensive for the quality you get
