Score from 1620 reviews Good
the location was good it was close to a metro station the area had many restaurants and facilities (though it was pretty expensive). compared to other hotels in london the value for money was good.
-lots of stairs no elevator -many people coming from other floors to use the bathroom so we had to wait to use it -really bad wifi because you had to enter a lot of things before you are able to use it
Room was very clean, everything you needed was available.
SO MANY STAIRS. Seriously, it was like climbing up to the attic to get to our room - only the young and sprightly could manage it! Especially with suitcases. And the showers were down a few flights of stairs, in a toilet cubicle. Weird.
This hotel is very close to the city center.
I do not recommend staying there in winter becouse windows are leaking.
- Location. 20 min walk from Convent Garden, 15 min walk from Camden Town, 30 min walk from Hyde Park. Also near Underground, for the people that don't like to walk - Staff, always helpfull - Confort, always hot, good beds, shared bathrooms always clean. - A lot of options to eat in the surroundings
- Nothing to point
Area and staff
Web access was not good. Each time I wanted to gain access I was required to sign in with name and password. Also you could not have more than one device on at anytime. This is simply archaic
Location is good Price (for london) Food in cafe downstairs is good
Small room Uncomfortable bed and pillow No bathroom on our floor
Friendly helpful staff
No en suite bathroom and batchroom on floor below room
i liked how close it was to major locations, the cleanliness of the bathroom and rooms, the size of the room, the hotel service, the cafe was nice, and i liked the complimentary drink for the cafe.
The WiFi was fine but it only could connect to 1 device not multiple, was a shame.
Comfortable beds, clean room. Quirky place, friendly staff.
Long way up the stairs.
Easy from Euston so location is good
Room was very small
The location of this place is great. The accommodation is simple and pretty much all you need. I can't compare with other places, but I was happy overall.
It would have been nice if there was soap in the common toilets. I'm not a fan of bringing my own soap to the hotel.
You have to ring the bell every time you enter the hotel. The room is small and there is even no coffee and tea bags. No toilet within the room.
Cleanliness of the rooms. No individual showers, lack of showers. Lack of plug sockets.
Room size for a quad/family room. WiFi availability and the free use of the computer if desired. Ability to store baggage after check-out. Shower rooms are clean.
Not having any lifts, carrying bags up and down steep steps was unpleasant. One of our beds broke when one of us sat on it, but staff was quick to act and moved us into another room. On the downside, it was on a higher level, with more stairs to get through.
Very polite friendly helpful staff and cleanliness
Only 1 plug point in the room which wasn't great when 3 of us were wanting to charge our phones
The location The breakfast cafe downstairs The speed of check-in 24 hours open reception Safety key card
Sharing a bathroom (but this was expected). The shower didn't work as it was on the top floor, despite following the instructions to put the showerhead on the floor of the shower. The room was also tiny and you felt like you were intruding on the guests in the adjoining rooms.
The location close to British Museum, etc. Lots of places within easy walk, including cafes and restaurants. Close to bus routes and tube station. Friendly staff.
Some noise from road outside, but not at all bad for central London. Shared toilet/shower rooms, but they were as described and perfectly adequate.
Location, location, location Few tube stops from London Center Direct tube connect to Heathrow Walking distance to two stations Very comfortable beds Clean rooms Decent common showers/bathrooms
If the room is by the bathroom, it would be very noisy (multiple floors are going to one stop). Many stairs to and from bathrooms, a problem if have health issues.
The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Nice room with great location, easy to travel around London.
There's no elevator and our room was in 3rd floor so it would be difficult for those who come with luggage. The wifi is a bit slow.
Would be helpful to know about bank card payment charges in advance
Was nearby subways and trains. The staff was really helpfull and nice. The installations were good, the shared bathrooms are individual and you have several ones per floor. The hotel was very clean.
Some walls were thin, and you were able to listen everything in the corridor. Our neighbours were a family with two very noisy kids, was a mess. It's expensive, but hey, all London it is. The breakfast option they offer on the basement is not convenient at all, even with the 10% discount they give. Just walk 1 block and you will have the same for half the price.
Location, good price, clean and safe
Stairs to room, Road noise
Bathroom dirty,room small...Wow,not again I am 105% sure...
close to Kings cross station
Not an off toilet/shower fot the number of room. no elevator and really thiny stairs ... not convenient with large luggage. Long and complicated registration system for the internet ... does not work all the time !!
What you could expect for the money in central London. Bed comfortable and staff were reasonable. Good to leave luggage there after checking out.
I did expect there to be some tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The cafe shut at 8pm so there was no where in the hotel to get a hot drink (which my life revolves around!).
