This friendly bed and breakfast-hotel is just minutes from Hyde Park and near to Oxford Street for shopping. Paddington Station is just a 2-minute walk and has train links to Heathrow Airport.

cleanliness and comfort of room
The most important thing for me was that there was a good lift even down to the breakfast room in the basement. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was warm, comfortable and stylish. I could watch a TV program I would have missed otherwise. It was also pretty quiet. I will book this one again without doubt.
Nothing much. The bed linen was wonderful but the single bed was just a bit bouncy for someone who likes a firm bed.
Was okay served our short time in london
Breakfast was poor only had 1 sausage 1 bacon 1 spoon of scramble egg since don't like beans. Full English it was classed has. Should have mushrooms hash browns black pudding to make full english.
Friendly staff, convenient location. Rooms very clean and fresh towels every day. Breakfast good and included in price
Room key rarely worked. Room smaller than the bed (not sure how they did that) and breakfast was complementary and worth every penny
provide the breakfast
The room is too small and our room is downstairs without window. So the air is not fresh. I think the price and the value is not equal.
Access to hotel easy - very convenient to Paddington = buses and underground handy. Dining room staff very pleasant.
We were placed in the basement near the front of property. Very noisy - especially at 4.00 when ? staff change over with loud conversation. Fire doors used near by caused reverberation of the room door. Cooked breakfast excellent - already dished out cereal not appealing at all (and meagre).
Location good ,Edgeware Road tube station 10 mins away, Regent Street 30 mins brisk walk away and staff always helpful. There is some really limited parking available outside which you need to reserve beforehand which you need to be aware of, the hotel and the reception area like the rest of the hotel is clean. The English breakfast is adequate.
Choose this hotel from pictures which can be misleading , despite the hotel nowhere near full ended up in a cramped room in the basement next to the lift, not ideal considering other pictures of better bedrooms.Left feeling bit deflated and a little mystified about some more glowing reviews posted which I thought questionable and inaccurate to be truthful . Wouldn't stay here again.
Rooms on 4th floor had new bathrooms!!!! (others I do not know...). My double twin was enough spacy but as one bad was double I think we got triple which will be only minimum for 3 adults... Quiet street, typical breakfast, noone should complain. If you look for something more fancy look for another place...
Frankly saying I have got what I expected from such class hotel. I do not like English bed's covers... and London hotels could be a bit less expensive!
Excellent location, clean room, friendly staff
No-one was at the desk when I arrived. But once arrived very friendly.
Quick check in and out, simple and swift breakfast
Room a bit tired
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Very good location, easy to access by bus or the underground.
Good English breakfast included in the rate
Electronic key cards do not work very well, but then that's normal in most hotels these days!
it amongst a few restaurants and shops with a few pubs scattered about. 10 min walk to Oxford Street.
- new, clean and very specious. The bathroom is beautiful. Very unusual for Central London. - good location, close to Paddington. A walking distance to Oxford street - the lady receptionist is very helpful
lovely and clean; the staff were very helpful; breakfast included in the price; only five minutes from the tube; numerous eating places a few minutes walk away.
can become very expensive if you want to travel into central london regularly; we bought an oyster card which cut down the cost enormously.
Location is perfect, breakfast is good
Wifi is not free
Good cooked breakfast included
Had to pay for wifi and was not included in the room rate
Considering room prices in London we were satisfied with the space in the room and positively surprised about the spacy and clean bath room (we had Room 4 for two nights). Slept well in the double bed, no disturbing noises from the hotel nor from its surroundings, TV at the wall for conveniently watching from the bed; we did not use the WLAN. Breakfast in an adjacent hotel provided the choice of full english breakfast or continental, staff very friendly. Walking distance to Paddington Station just 3 minutes, Circle and District lines.
Luggage storage is in the foyer without any real protection against theft (accessible to anyone entering the hotel).
newly painted, polite,
slight smell of disinfectant, breakfast only average
Cleanliness, comfort, quiet building. Left luggage helpful. Good location.
Breakfast was very basic. Left luggage totally insecure. Automatic Kettle in room broken.(Had to hold down switch to function) Powdered milk only supplied in room. No shower gel or shampoo.
Great location and breakfast. Very nice
Good location, room clean and quiet at back of building away from road. Large bathroom. Excellent breakfast.
It’s so easy get around. The Big Bus (city tour) stop is just around the corner. The hotel is only a few minutes-walk from the Paddington station which has a direct express train from/to the Heathrow Airport. There so many restaurants and pubs in walking distance.
Proximate Hop on Hop off bus station
Bad wifi, and if we ought to have paid for a better one, this also is bad
