The second and third day I stayed in Athena hotel. the room was renewed, comfort and the staff really nice. The first of the tree days I had to stay in another hotel of the main owner. It was a really low cost hotel. Definitely not what I paid for. They didn't respect my precondition that I wanted a room above the 1st floor. |

Room was clean and adequate for a weekend stay. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and efficient. Value for money. Our room key card did not work properly and it took a lot of tries before we could get in to our room each time. |

Clean and well kept Phone in room was not connected, so when an alarm went off in the night we were not able to phone reception to check it out. Just a normal TV and we were expecting satellite. Breakfast was ok and the staff are helpful. The room was small and crowded for twin beds, you can't move around in the room. Limited channels avaliable from TV. No internet connection. |

Good Breakfast and excellent location Family room in the basement was noisy - we could even hear the rumble of the nearby tube line every 5 minutes |

Was close to Paddington Station and breakfast included in price. When an extra person needed accommodation, lady was very helpful. I asked the man on reception for another pillow but never received it. There was a sky light in room with no cover so when the sun rose, we all had to wake. |

The breakfast staff were lovely-efficient and helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was reasonably good and freshly made Lots. My single room was very basic and ridiculously small and very overpriced, for what it was.The room was clean but bedcover grubby and the sigle chair in the room was filthy.I complained but nthing else available, and neither was the owner/mamager. |

Handy to Paddington station. Blind in room broken - would not go up or down. Door to bedroom needed to be held open with a stool to stop it closing. Bathroom basin blocked. Card that opened door to room frequently did not work resulting in a trip back down to reception to have it reset. Carpet and bedcoverings needed cleaning. Overpriced for the quality. |

Reception lady was very efficient and helpful with knowledge of the local area etc. Our room was on the same side as the main road and had old sash windows (no double glazing) made it very noisy throughout the night. It had a small sized double bed which was not that comfortable. |

This is a family owned Hotel, greek family, the hotel is not bad, in terms of value vs quality could not have asked for more, we had internet in the room for a reasonable price, tv, coffe and tea, they made the room every day, BF is reasonably good. The rooms are a bit old, and very small, but come on, who goes to London to stay in a room?? It was perfect for the needs we had. |
