Friendly and clean room.
As you arive your met by the smell of stale smoke but as you go up to your room it's gone. The place is out dated and a bit run down. But the new owner assures me that the work is going to get done/modernise.
Not far to walk to promenade Towels were clean
Conditions in hotel. 1.not clean 2. Holes in bed 3.holes in wall 4.lumpy beds 5.no bin in room 6.tv only worked on one channel Would not go back
The manager was lovely and went out of her way to make our stay a pleasurable experience.
This was a wonderfully friendly place..Sue is such a lovely lady and bent over backwards to help my family and puppy. The room was spotless and had just been decorated and had everything we needed. The rest of the hotel was also very clean warm and welcoming. I loved the dresser in the dining room with the huge selection of jams, spreads and sauces....what a fabulous idea!
Breakfast was nice, parking was better than some of the other hotels, staff very friendly.
Room and bathroom dirty, table wasn't wiped before we were sat down for breakfast and everything was sticky, staff bickering in the kitchen made it a bit awkward.
Leaving, still alive and not caught a disease!!
Arriving to find the cosy nice pictures on this web site looked nothing like the hotel we visited. It's obviously been taken over by someone who hasn't a clue about business or being presentable and maintaining high standards like the pictures you have on this site dirty carpets in the hall way , cramped room, the bar looked disgusting, the breakfast took ages to get cooked. I actually felt embarrassed as I booked this for a party of 4 friends, I will never live this down :(
Shower room to small
the hotel was obviously undergoing renovation but this did not interfere with our stay. the rooms had been modernised to a high standard with little extras that made the rooms more homely
The location was a little out of the way but then again that has nothing to do with the standards of the hotel We had to wait longer than we would have liked for breakfast to be served
It was near to pubs
Didnt appear very clean. Rooms werent ready when we arrived at after 5pm
Budget price and proximity to everything
Clean room, friendly staff.
Breakfast small and cold on arrival, no choices offered
Smelly, messy, cramped. Cheap. You get what you pay .
The owner was very nice. The wifi was excellent.
The mattress was still covered in plastic which really threw off my ability to sleep. There was no lobby or public space.
Mai, made my stay very pleasant.
Relaxed owner. Cute dog. Comfy bed. Late check out and breakfast to suit.
no staff, no wifi, when raising a complaint we were basically told because it is so cheap you shouldn't expect good service.
Was able to take my dog in the room. The staff were considerate and friendly
Nice warm well decorated room, great telly in my room, the penguin on the tea tray very close to north pier. Free parking
Some redecoration being done in bar and breakfast room, but it's te low season and its got to be done some time, so it's a minor complaint really
Had a few problems but resolved quickly and effectively
Suzanne was lovely, tried really hard for is to enjoy our stay, would definitely stay again x
Everything was perfect and the parking was a good point
