An average, modern hotel. Little remarkable.

Room was a decent size and comfortable.

Very low 'coffee table' in room - it was easy to walk into.

I like the ease of being only 5 mins walk away from the centre of Chelmsford. The free WiFi was a very good touch, as a lot of other hotels like to charge large premiums to use thiers.

The double bed was just 2 single beds pushed together

Place was ok, personel were very kind and acted professional.

The Room Service should be improved - you are offering the service, and when we wanted it the guy in the reception didn't know where things were or how to make sandwishes. Besides that I would suggest you keep the same quality of food every morning, i.e. the bacon on the last morning was of a very poor quality.

Staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant very good too.

Peaceful hotel, despite central location

The location was excellent. It was only a 10 minute walk into town and the directions to get there were foolproof. Breakfast was really relaxed and good quality.

There was a disturbance one night with drunken guests banging on doors up and down the corridor. The hotel can't be held accountable for this but perhaps they were a little slow to handle the situation. Numbers of guests were mumbling complaints at breakfast the next morning.

The food was excellent.

Beds were too small.

Location to town centre, good price for what we had. Nice rooms with large tvs and freeview give plenty of choice.

Noise from other rooms at 4am, hotel did not do much to stop this. I thought the food was expensive.

Within walking distance of Bus & Train stations. Close to town center but in a quiet neighbourhood. Spacious room with tea/coffee facility & large flat screen TV.Freshly cooked breakfast each morning. All the staff were very friendly.
