Clean tidy rooms. Pleasant helpful staff.

Restaurant food was good althoughthe restaurant itself was not very welcoming.

The bar was a non-description corner of the restaurant and the choice I'd drinks (beer) very limited and expensive. A small packet of nuts cost £1:50.

Bed size

Room size, bathroom size, toiletries, over-priced so-called executive room, iron not a steam iron, ironing board too small and fixed to wall, damaged shower hose, wobbly tap on basin, small television, only one plastic cup supplied with one small bottle of mineral water in a room for two people,

my niece and i really enjoyed our stay there,staff were very pleasant,and hotel was spotless,would highly recommend a stay there,i would certainly go back again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. we had a good meal in the restaurant.

Location wasn't very good. Great for business men and for one night stays but not good for a holiday maker. Only views were of walls.

Rooms were fine

Food in restaurant was not good. I had the breaded chicken which was dry and lacking in flavour.

Lovely clean rooms, big spacious beds Close to Essex cricket ground.

Rooms were extremely hot when entering -but did cool down with the windows open.

I paid for an expensive hotel to impress my Spanish girlfriend and was very disappointed. The hotel decor was really poor and the bed was awful, as was the horrible brown carpet. I think we deserve a refund for at least one of the nights. My girlfriend even considered flying home to spain as she thought all hotels in the uk would be as bad. Mercifully not the case. Staff generally were friendly while the Breakfast selection was also at expected standard for a Hotel focussed on the "Business" market.

WiFi wouldn't work which I think is incredible in this day and age. No lift while the general decor throughout was very basic. Didn't look like a Hotel from the exterior however my Taxi-man knew where it was. Very poor value for money relative to what would be available at the same price in Ireland.

Staff were helpful. Both evening meal and breakfast were good.

Location is rather unusual.

I stayed with my son. Room was so clean and welcoming. Had all the facilitys needed. Staff on the front desk really helpfull. Will definetly return to hotel next visit.

Not enough milk in room but just asked and got more.

A little bit far away from the centre, gym and sauna are based in the gym club just right out the corner of the hotel, but the pool is 5 minutes away somewhere? Better to have everything under one roof

Confusing entry into car park. Hotel doesn't stand out well from surrounding buildings.

Nice room, large TV, comfortable and even though it's only a little thing I did like the touch of a bottle of water at the side of the bed.

we arrived at night and it was difficult to locate the hotel even harder to find the car park.

Easy access, friendly and helpful staff, good restaurant location within the Hotel, large room size and comfort.

We had a disabled person who could not use the shower or Bath because there was nothing to hold on to in the bathroom to get in and out of the Bath (we did declare that the person was a wheel-chair user).
