Atlantic House Hotel  

Food was good but slow service, especially at breakfast. I was the only person waiting to be served, and I waited 25 minutes for my breakfast.

Could have a much friendlier welcome. When ever you require assistance you always have to press a bell under the stairs, as no is is around. Bathrooms need updating, and an information pack would be nice in the bedroom, stating about meal times etc. also, very very small double bed.

The view was stunning from our room, the breakfast was delicious and made all the better that it was a lovely decorated room, and the lady that served us was friendly with a sense of humour and a smile.

I don't think the reception was great, the man was, it seemed not having a good day and looked grumpy rather than welcoming, there was no connection like you get at most places. The room (no'10) although spacious and well equipped was rough round the edges, the bed looked like a 3/4 double, and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was tacky, shower head had black mould on it, and the toilet made horrendous noises all through the night. The breakfast the following day saved us from making a complaint as up to that point it was certainly not worth the £92 we paid for it.

Staff was extremely nice and always prompt to assist. Nice location.

The only downside was the pillows (not so soft) - but maybe I'm just a bit too fussy

Location. Large, clean room with good view, and comfortable bed.

Central heating not turned on in room, despite gale and nearby blizzard. Freezing and draughty breakfast room. Average to poor English breakfast. Limited TV stations.

The position of the Hotel is perfect for a view over the beautiful beach and the town of Bude, the warm welcome of the lady that was at the reception desk made us feel home , as the lady that served us breakfast in the morning. Precious.

The location was good as was breakfast .

We were booked into a double room which was on the top floor .due to my partners mobility difficulties we were re-allocated to a lower floor room which was only a single with double bed.1 Cup, 1 towel etc . the view was of sainsbury's car park. Tv did not work and could definately do with decorating.

Excellent location overlooking beach and harbour, but only 5 minutes walk from the bus stance on The Strand.

Rather pricey for what feels more like a guest house than an hotel.

It was very welcoming, clean and they do a good breakfast. Location is superb.

Excellent location for exploring the North Cornwall coast.

Able to come & go as I pleased

Lovely view of the beach from our window. Clean and comfortable en suite room. Very quiet. Free internet connection. Tv and tea & coffee making facilities in room. Constant hot water. Cereals followed by lovely cooked breakfast in smart dining room served 8.30-9.30. Very relaxing hotel. We would definately stay there again.

I would have liked to have seen a small safe in the room which seems to be standard practice now, but this is just a minor point.

Good location,parking was available.

No bath mat/shampoo in bathroom. Decor looked tired and dated .biscuit with the tea would have been a nice gesture.

Friendly staff, v.clean.

V.small room despite being described as 'Double'. No evening meal while they find a new Chef. A bit soul-less.
