I felt very welcome and at home even though I arrived quite late. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, which was a godsend after an 8 hour journey. The view over the bowling green was nice and the room was comfortable. Overall the hotel was a1 and I would return if similarly priced. Thank You. No. Only the fact that there didn't seem to be any alternatives to Nescafe or normal tea provided. There are plenty of alternatives around these days at comparable prices. Those who drink decaf or herbal tea tend to be forgotten and this would make little or no difference to the price (herbal teabags cost on average 10-12p). A small thing really but makes all the difference! |

Booking in is done in the Kitchen, which was filled with all sorts of junk. Not a place we fancied eating food from, so we missed breakfast. Staff did not know we had a booking upon arrival. A tacky place dirty carpets and bedding. Only one pillow per person. No en-suite facilities. No curtain on shared bath room glass door. Noisy neighbours. |

They made us very welcome, and able to help by answering lots of questions. The gentleman can even do the BSL ABC, and actually spelt out his name and his wife. There were 10 of us all deaf. I had booked an apartment of 6 people, and another apartment of 4 people. Those appartments had not materialized. Had to split 10 of us in different rooms. Very disappointed, because wanted to keep us together. |

Nothing in particular I did not enjoy and one look at the booking office I did not want to stay. The place was untidy,it was office come kitchen, not clean, the staff were rude. The mattress was fit for scrap and sheets untidy. The towels were so worn that I had to purchase a set from Primark on the high street. We had a bad experience and did not have our breakfast. |

The room was very clean and comfortable, the guest house is in a quiet location in easy walking distance of the beach etc, enjoyed the breakfasts. Some facilities could be improved, eg TV in room only showed BBC (not a problem for me) and the bathroom lacked a mirror. Online directions to the hotel need updating as one road on this route appears to be blocked off and impossible to drive down. |

Accomadation nice. Bathroom lovely. Noisey neighbours. Sofas needed updating. Portraits on floor and old photos on fireplace needs to be put away. Curtains dated. Wooden blinds would have modernised the window areas. |
