Avenue Park Guest House    

Room was excellent very clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent,you could have anything from full english to a continental breakfast they catered for anything you wanted Location was excellent very close to railway station and a short walk to the beach

Sandra was warm and freindly making your stay enjoyable. The guesthouse was faultless, rooms clean and well mainted, breakfast 1st class. Lovely surroundings and a great place to stay

Four of us went to the Lions Clubs convention at the Riviera Conference Centre. Avenue Park is so close, just round the corner, the rooms are very nice well equipped and clean. Breakfast excellent

We chose the Avenue Park Guest House based on the recommendations of other reviews , we were not disappointed , excellent accommodation, very friendly and knowledgable proprietor , spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were the best we have seen and had in a long time. Sandra, the owner was wonderful, she couldnt do enough for you. The room was clean and cosy, and was decorated to a high standard and modern. The breakfast (full english) was delicious, its close to town and the beach, would highly recommend this place and I would definitely stay again.

This guest house was excellent - Sandra the owner was very obliging and went out of her way to make our short stay extremely welcoming. Rooms were excellent and the breakfast was delicious and set you up for the day. I would definitely recommend this guest house to fellow holiday makers.

We stayed in the superior room which was lovely. Very comfortable, bright and airy and luxurious. The breakfast was delicious and staff extremely courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Don't let first impressions deceive. The place might look like any other from the outside but the inside is just lovely - beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. Although my partner and I stayed in the smallest of the available rooms it was still incredibly comfortable, comfiest bed and linens we've had for a while! Sandra and Jim, who run the place, are incredibly friendly and are happy to recommend places to see as well as to provide you directions. All in all an absolutely delightful stay, thank you!

It was a lovely place to stay within easy walking distance of the seafront and shops.

Location, staff, food, rooms. It was our second visit of the season, after we enjoyed our first stay so much a few weeks ago.

Warm, friendly and and attention to detail. Special diets catered for and nice touches such as fresh milk available for hot drinks in the rooms. Highly recommended.

An observation rather than a dislike - Steps to entrance may be an issue for those with mobility problems.
