Superb friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value.
Good location 20 min stroll to Princes street and Castle. Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast
Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, great location
Being in a separate building to my son
all ok for the price, great and helpful POLISH speaking staff, CAMEO cinema nearby :) I RECOMMEND!
Location probably the only good thing
Breakfast absolutely awful and bathroom stank if wee very strange place but cheap
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for city access and secured parking a bonus especially for the day when you sightseeing in the city. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough to get the day started.
Only two pillows, so should have asked for more... Our room did not have ensuite but we did have our own bathroom but had to go into the hallway first so found that a bit irritating but not serious.
Confortable, friendly staff, good location
The manager play the scotish music in the night. It's very nice.
Excellent location, excellent little B&B
If I'm honest I'm not to sure about the staff uniform. But that's a minor thing and only my opinion.
historic story telling of Scotland being told and sung by the landlord.
The Guest house is located perfectly for a weekend trip. Easy to walk to everything and public transport is nearby too. Really friendly staff! Nice room, pretty spacious and clean.
The bed was not the best.
Location & Parking & Helpful
Clean and comfortable. Great location for the city centre. Safe, off-street car parking. OK breakfast.
Size of our room.
The beds were the best
Breakfast good, clean, parking available, staff were very friendly and helpful
Decor was dated.
Ample parking and good position, only 10 min walk to Princes St. Excellent breakfast. Owner and staff very helpful.
Decor is a little tired and dated
Location about 20 mins walk from centre price was about £30 cheaper per night than other hotels. Car park space.
Drab room, uncomfortable bed. Room opposite dining room and kitchen, therefore noisy.. Queuing for breakfast.
Good thing about this property was that it offered parking and was close enough to walk to Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile. Rooms were clean but dated and with en suite, pleasant hosts, breakfast was ok.
The beds were very hard.
Friendly and helpful staff. The Polish Scotsman in a kilt. Walking distance to most attractions. Folk songs of a night time.
Place needs a refresh of carpets and a general brightening.
Friendly staff, great location, great value for money, nice breakfast
No soap etc. in the bathroom
The staff is friendly, and our room had three beds for my dad and mum, and I which beyond our expection. In the night, there is a free Scotland feature songs and pictures enjoyed held by owner Alan, let us feel in friends home not just like in a hotel.
- Owner and staff are very friendly - Breakfast is nice
- Bathroom is too tiny - Beds and bedding look old - Setting of some rooms are strange
Very kind host and staff.
Pillows were a bit sad and lumpy.
Great location and parking facility. Great value for money.. Scottish music played live in the dining room at night adds a personal touch.
Needs to update the pillows and bed furnishings.
Room was very traditional and is in need of some modernisation.
Breakfast tomatoes not cooked need to be grilled or fried. Eggs were hard and had to wait along time to be served.
