The Aviator Hotel (飞行者酒店)  

I loved the decor, it was a very beutifully designed hotel.

i felt there could be more in the rooms to accomodate the price, especially a bigger better sofa and bigger tv!

Reasonably sized rooms; good views of RAE.

Only one bathrobe in double room, asked for another by going to reception, still not forthcoming. Very poor and overpriced cooked breakfast. Not enough staff poor service at breakfast , disappointed in a high standard hotel.

insufficient draw storage. no fannels cooked breakfast could have been hotter, plus coissants buttier.

poor service at breakfast, as if they were not expecting anyone to have breakfast. Run out of plates, food etc. Lack of service from staff, they need to be more aweake and aware of the customer needs.

Free films, rooms and service and look and feel of the hotel, which is great.

In room menu choices not varied enough and “ordinary” coffee in room would make life easier, but minor points compared with overall service, which is great.

Friendly hotel, very chic and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Wonderful staff, all very helpful, but especially Francesca on reception - she made our stay fantastic.

Excellent time at hotel that was good choice to surprise me boyfriend . Time nicely spend . Stuff very nice , personel of hotel profesional and fast ... Well done ... Will back again ;)

Family wedding - very accommodating

Mr Alex Reid (so called celebrity) was staying at your hotel, and asked our family member, who was the bride, if she wanted him to attend her wedding !!! Who would ? Needless to say she declined, but we thought this was very rude of him to intrude.

Nothing particulalry

Very little, not child friendly at all, extremely expensive in comparison to other hotel brands in the local area, long delays for seating and eating meals, operational staff very unfriendly particulalry towards toddlers/infants

The room

I had a very warm greeting from reception staff and the dinner was excellent. I enjoyed my stay in one of the suites and look forward to my next visit.

The wifi in my room, 201, was very, very poor.

The room was amazing, as a frequent traveller I stay at alot if various hotels but found The Aviator to be the most stylish & comfortable, staff very friendly & extremely helpful, catered to our every whim!!! Looking forward to going back

Room was clean

The stay was very minimalistic we had no english tea bags in the room to have a cup of tea, the sink plug was broke, there was no hair dryer, for the cost the facilities were very poor. Good place to stay when the air show is on but apart from that the view was of an empty runway

The whole experience from receptionist right through to the restaurant staff, nothing was too much and the reply was always positive. We asked for continental breakfast at 6am which is an hour before they normally serve this but it was arranged and was delivered on time. We were given an upgrade to an airside room, initially I was concerned about noise but the room was so well insulated not a sound could be heard. The hotel is terrific.

Reception on the first floor with no signs at ground floor to tell you where to go on arrival if you had not been there before.

my room was a disabled room which should have been mentioned on booking it and when I checked in ...for this reason I will not be coming back

Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, rooms are large and very comfortable. Internet is good, breakfast really good, rooms service quick and food is very well cooked and presented very nice. A nice experience, absolutely the best hotel in the area.

Cleanliness and style

I've stayed there several times and like the layout and the staff are friendly, and also the fact that the TV has lots of functions and film channels to watch as part of the room price, and the hotel also provides free wifi. great value for money.

Too far from the town center

The whole look and feel of the hotel was stunning. The WOW factor was excellent. It had the unique feel of being both a business hotel and a luxury stay for personal use. The service was amazing, the food stunning, staff could not do enough for you. This coming from a middle aged miserable moaning approaching old man

The on ly thing which seemed lacking was a covered pull in when you arrive to off load your luggage

As had been mentioned on-line, the exterior is a bit modern and lacking in charm. The interior is a complete contrast. I thought it was excellent. It is well worth making the effort to stay at this unique hotel. Worthy of 5 stars in my view.

Modern and very comfortable with attentive staff. Great views across the overlooked airfield (if you have a room on that side) but very good soundproofing meant no noise. Despite issues, this is an interesting place to stay.

Tv in room didn't work, but we told reception only on checkout. Very apologetic. Ate in the restaurant Sunday evening. Set menu – food was 'ok' not brilliant. Breakfast was very poor. Cold plate, hard bacon (had been kept warm) – was not freshly made. We complained and weren't charged for it. This hotel is not cheap – I expected better.
