Given London exorbitant prices to find a decent B&B which is affordable and in a reasonable good area is a major plus. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and it's 5 minutes walk from Hammersmith metro station.
The idea of having to share a bathroom was a bit daunting at first but in reality it worked well.
We had the triple room, the beds were amazing, the bathroom was spotless, really close to the train station, staff were friendly and helpful... could not have asked for any more
reasonable price ,comfortable bedroom
Internet connection is not good
Convenient location and very friendly and helpful,
everything. Plan to book again during the Christmas season.
LOCATION! Clean rooms Friendly Staff
This is a large house where the family live on the first and basement floor and the rest is converted into apartments. Location is great, just a stones throw from Hammersmith Tube station and Hammersmith high street. We had a studio room in the roof of the house and it was really clean and well equipped (especially considering the amount of space). Considering the price of other places I looked at in London it was good value but nothing amazing. It does have air con though which was a godsend during our stay since it was very hot in London at the time. It would have been nice to have some information about where to get a nice breakfast or where the nearest supermarket is since it's self catering. There is one place mentioned for food in the welcome folder (in the room) but it doesn't actually say where the place is, just gives the name. Good information about how to get to airports from the apartments.
I didn't like that the window opened out to next doors roof and the room felt quite claustrophobic because it had no natural daylight. Also, just in case you are going to be here during the week, there is a building site just down the road which is incredibly noisy, we did ask to be moved to the back of the house but never got a response. Luckily we were there during the weekend so only had the noise on Friday afternoon (when we arrived) and Saturday morning. You might want to check in advance what stage the building is at. The rooms at the top are very close together so when your neighbour comes home or leaves you can hear it all. You won't want to spend a lot of time in the room, it's too small and pokey.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, nice decor, quiet
Bit on the small side for 3 occupants
The staff was very kind, accepting a very late checkin at 02:00 am. Not a bad location if you take in mind the reasonable price, just a 5 minute walk to the hammersmith tube which connects you directly to any of the cities attractions
Very close to Hammersmith station, value for money, spacey room, extremely helpful personel
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a small double room with ensuite. It was very well laid out and had everything we needed, amazingly well done room given the very small size of the space. We only stayed one night but it was perfect for our stay. Fantastic location 2 mins walk to tube station on hammersmith shops. The owners obviously make a real effort to make their guest accommodation appealing which is rare in London, and price was great.
There's no lift, its difficult carrying heavy luggage up stairs.
Great location, two minute walk from nearest tube station! Ran by a lovely, friendly couple. Everything you need provided in your room. Only stayed for two nights but it was great value for money and I'd definitely return.
fully equiped kitchen, location
Location. Convenient to EVERYTHING. Clean and very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing. No lift, but this is not a problem. The host is very kind and happy to take the luggages upstair for guests.
Kitchenette was good as it enabled us to save money on breakfast and lunches. Location was great. Very clean. Great price
Furniture in our room was a bit scruffy. Ie wardrobe doors wonky, warped mirror mismatched furniture etc. still a fantastic place to stay though.
great location, great price, room was fabulous, modern and clean. Loved it, definetley plan to stay again
Location (proximity to Hammersmith and Olympia) Friendly staff/owners
Simple, small and clean but no complaints
Nice apartment style rental with a small kitchen and bath. It was nice to have the space to make lunch or breakfast as London can be expensive. The location was great- a 5 min walk to the Hammersmith metro line.
The neighborhood was nice but very residential, there weren't many places to eat nearby.
Clean, well equipped 2 person studio. Helpful staff. Hotel and its neighbourhood quiet after midnight, no problem getting to sleep. Good value for money. I would stay there again.
Dining table provided was rather small.
The friendliness of the staff and amenities in the room. The cost was also good value for London.
We stayed in the double room with a shared bathroom. Everything was spotless clean and the staff/owners were super nice. The room is nice and bright and kitchenette is definitely a huge plus. Fantastic place!
Not to far from the tube, and reasonably equipped studio room.
A little small, but it was ok
We were informed that there was flooding in the room when we arrived but have arranged a room in a nearby hotel. That's a very good arrangement and we would choose to stay at Aviva Stuidos again next time.
It is 5 minute walk from the tube and about 8 minutes walk to the Apollo. The check in and check out were easy. They clean the room and made the bed for you everyday.
The bed was a little bit uncomfortable for me.
