Good price and clean, if small, room
Only a sheet on the bed and no blanket or duvet?
The location was excellent. I had a room at rhe back overlooking a lovely cobbled private lane with no noise at all. Not your usual London hotel room! As a single female I deliberately stayed away from other areas. The price for London was amazing. Staff could not have been more helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely new bathroom with a great shower.
The reception seemed a little tired although they are undergoing refurbishment which I presume will include the sofas and reception area?
Staff were very friendly. Good location.
Too hot. The room was too small and expensive for what you get.
really large room, clean, not noisy, friendly staff, close to piccadilly line and bus 74 you will hardly find something better on price & location
too warm, maybe the a/c could get replaced if someone would need it. but these are only minor issue
Price was ok, room was decorated well, location is good depending on where you want to be in London
No duvets - only a sheet and throw. Hallway hadn't been painted and was smeared with plaster Breakfast was very minimum
Clean rooms and great location
Breakfast, weird security system, bad wifi and inattentive staff
large size room
ongoing construction within the lobby
This hotel was clean, quiet, pleasent room, comfortable bed. Great clean bathroom with fabulous water pressure. I would defiantly stay there again.
The hotel is very close to the tube station and in a very nice and safe area. Staff is very friendly. We obtained a free upgrade to a superior room. Room was clean.
Only that in our room wi-fi was not working good.
Brilliant location, quiet, clean, safe street for London. Beautiful buildings. Very close to Gloucester road tube & museums. Staff were lovely. We could leave our luggage before & after check in & out. They even tried to find a vacant room for us even though we were several hours early.
It was very hot. There was air conditioning, but it was very noisy, so you couldn't leave it on after you'd gone to bed.
The shower, location
Breakfast was very minimal
Complimentary breakfast was pretty good, at least they offer a variety of cereals, hot milk, cheese, yoghurts, jams and bananas
There is no fridge in the room which was a bad surprise. The kettle was broken but I assume thwy could have replaced it. There is no restaurant in the hotel (in case you wanted to ask for a wine glass as I did). It's a very touristic hotel, no personal service. Just a fair place to sleep over.
The staff were really nice and helpful and could answer any question. The location is great. The balcony was nice.
Breakfast should finish at 10, not 9:30: travellers want to relax. The breakfast buffet should include some scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage, and you should have marmalade. There should be douvets on the beds, not just a single sheet and a thin blanket you have to put on yourself: nights can get cold. The shower cubicle is too short: some of your guests are tall. The lock on the balcony door is very flimsy. There should be a sign with instructions on wifi somewhere in the room. Rooms should have a small refrigerator, and a hairdryer. There should be universal plug adaptors available for all guests.
Described as luxury on the website, this hotel certainly was not luxury. Room was tiny, which obviously can't be helped but our biggest concern was that it appeared to not be very clean. Walls were filthy, scuffs are inevitable but there was actually what looked like snot on the walls. There was no duvet only a thin sheet and a blanket which was also dirty. To top it off there was no handle on the outside of the bathroom door. Complaint made, nothing done
Dirty room, no alternative offered when complaint made. No response from hotel when complaint made via email
not a good breakfast, not worth the money.
How clean and comfortable it felt, great location too
Worst Place Ever!!!
location price property
Location was great
Very hot room. No air conditioning and not even a fan.
All of the stay we had to change rooms at 2 in the morning after we got back from a convert... not sum thing you want todo after a few drinks at that time of night.
service, room too small
Location was good. Staff polite on arrival.Triple room was good size and had quaint raised platform adding character to plain room. Shower basic but very clean. Toilet very clean.Ample supply of towels. Would recommend only if wanting one night stay, and was being bought on deal, would not pay full price for this room.
Lack of throw or duvet on beds. A valance would have enhanced appearance. Very unusual to have no top cover. The blankets were on top of unit, but looked old and not appealing in any way.Pillows very flat feather pillows, no extra supplied. General decor very poor, and stairwells very dark. Breakfast very basic and basement where it was served lacked character a bit hostel like. On leaving staff not rude, but no one asked if enjoyed stay etc.
Breakfast Staff required us to return the key to the desk whenever we stepped out.
close to tube, earls court and museums, not long to get into town. area felt safe. staff friendly and helpful, room was nice and quiet. cleaned every day, new towels
bathroom quite small, no air conditioning as such (though window opened and wasn't too hot), breakfast not that great. wifi could be better
small room, dirty carpet
