Very welcoming and friendly staff, nice and clean. Enjoyed the old railway carriage where you dine for breakfast.
None, wish i could have stayed longer.
Excellent location for Bournemouth and the New forest area. Room was clean and had tea & coffee making which was nice. Novelty of having breakfast in a train.
No real negative points. All lived up to our expectations.
It's easy to get to Christchurch or Bournemouth from here. The room was nice and comfortable.
The welcome wasn't particularly warm, and when I asked for help choosing a gluten free meal in the evening they weren't particularly helpful - so we ate elsewhere. Disappointed as stayed there a year ago and had a great time, including a memorable meal! Won't go back again.
Lovely hotel very good price food was excellent young bar waiting staff friendly and chatty.
Hotel shuts at 11 unable to sit and chat told to go to room at 11! Understand bar shuts but nowhere to be with friends staff abrupt when closing -
Restaurant - fantastic food. Breakfast is second to none. Even if I can't get a room there and have to stay elsewhere I go there of dinner. Very handy of the airport. Very helpful staff. Good tea and coffee and great biscuits in room. Also bottled water which is a great touch.
Nothing really- difficult to get a room as very popular so have to book in advance.
Staff are lovely food in resturant and breakfast was lovely freshly cooked and red hot
Dissapointed in my pud of waffel and ice cream would have liked 2 scoops for my fiver
The location and the helpfulness of the staff.
Difficult to find
Lovely room, good food and very friendly and correct staff. Having breakfast in the old Pullman train is like going back in time when cigarettes were A topence from the machine that is still hanging there.....
Little noise due to the road, WiFi +/-
Value for money and first class breakfast
Rather run down in general
Very pleasant place to stay. Perfect for the airport in the morning. Excellent breakfast. Will stay here again and recommend.
Wifi hopeless :(
Location and garden. Food was excellent and good value for money. The railway carriage used to eat breakfast in is wonderful!
It would have been nice to have had air con in the bedroom especially in these current temperatures
Clean comfortable room
Bar was closed
Nice friendly couple run this personable Hotel. Cosy atmosphere and very welcoming
Location rural, but close to Christchur h, easy to get to. Room very clean, well-appointed. Restaurant meals very good; breakfast in the carriage was fun, and sausages tasty. Staff friendly and efficient.
Getting to the room on the first floor with luggage and without a lift was a bit difficult.
Was def not 4 star. Rooms and reception really small and tired. In desperate need of a lick of paint. Shane was very gracious when we left shortly after arriving and sent an immediate email to apologise.
breakfast was excellant and service. food overall good
service was slow on monday, had to get own cutlery as meals came before the table had been laid, and time gap between all meals arriving was poor
The Food! The restaurant and the novelty of having breakfast on the train. Will bring my grandson here, he will love it.
In bar, we prefer to have our drinks poured for us rather than put beside the glass. Room could do with redecoration but good value for money.
Friendly staff who went the extra mile to accomDaye some dpeciL needs
The accommodation was well appointed and comfortable, the food was of a good standard, the Airport only 5 minutes away.
The outside areas could do with redecorating.
Cosy bedroom and helpful manager. Breakfast in old railway coach. very quaint. Beautifully set out.
Evening dinner. Duck in duck salad was not genuine duck.
Close to the airport, breakfast very good and cheerful staff.
Checked in after 23:00hrs due to late flight and could'nt get a beer!
Friendly atmosphere and staff. Very good food and service.
Post code of hotel sends satnav to by pass below hotel.
Unique dining experience in a railway carriage nice touch, great value price including breakfast, very pleasant staff.
Pub part was really quiet for a Friday night very atmosphere lacking but we were not there for the pub so not a major problem. Room was nicely decorated just a bit on the small side.
Location is very quiet but near enough to major routes. Plenty of parking, monitored by CCTV. Comfortable and functional rooms with extra touches such as biscuits and percolated coffee. Attention to detail is apparent. Breakfast in the railway carriage is lovely.
