Avonbridge Hotel  

I requested soft pillows as my wife has a neck problem and could not sleep as the ones supplied were too hard. They were not supplied & she had to suffer a second sleepless night.

The friendliness and professionalism of the hotel and restaurant staff. Good food and excellent service.

The coat hangers in the wardrobe needed replacing. They failed to hold up our clothing!

Very friendly staff. Room very clean and restaurant serving very good food. As soon as we said we were vegetarian they gave us a lovely breakfast.Computer available for guests.

Friendly and helpful staff with clean facilities

Our daughter (20 months) would not settle and the staff kindly heated a bottle of milk (after midnight) and gave me a separate room to go with her so my husband could sleep before driving in the morning. They really were so accommodating and went beyond what most other hotels would ever do. We could not fault them in their friendliness or service.

The whole hotel was very warm, which made it quite uncomfortable at times.

Internet does not work in exterier buildings. I wont use the hotel again because of this

Staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was clean and well laid out. The breakfast was lovely and served by a very pleasant young lady.

We booked the Hamilton Suite and were disappointed in a few disappointing aspects of the room, matress very hard, toilet seat fell off and had to be put back together plug socket for the hairdryer not working. We didn't like returning to the hotel and having to walk through a wall of smoke created by guests attending a function who were stood in the entrance to the hotel.

Jacuzzi tv clean and tidy

Thought the bed was slightly hard

WiFi signal very poor in room, bathroom cold.

Had a meeting in Hamilton so excellent location Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Restaurant staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the menu was excellent.Room upgrade was offered as there was a Disco on site.Iron etc. was provided immediately it was asked for. Made our stay better than expected.

Price of wine by the glass was very expensive in the bar, 2 glasses cost the same as a main course in the restaurant.Checkout could be a bit later. Whilst we were let in very quickly by the night porter our friends had to wait at least 20 mins. in the snow to get in. Hamilton is not the place to go unless you have a good reason.

Lovely, warm and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and a jaccuzzi in the bath tub. Close to shops and only 5 minutes off the M74

No complaints at all

The service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. We stayed in one of the Annex buildings which was really lovely. The hotel has a lunch time menu and an a La Carte menu for the evening. Both menus are very good.

As a solo traveler I was made to feel welcome and accommodated. Very friendly staff.

Ground floor room so could not open the window for security reasons.

The Regent Honeymoon Suite which my mum and dad enjoyed

The bed was a bit hard and it squeeked! Otherwise, the room was really nicely appointed.

The restuarant and bars and food

Have stayed here a few times now and its good to come back knowing that the standards are high. Food is fresh and of good quality but good value for money. Have already booked again for business trip next month.

Arrived on a Sunday night this time and there were a rowdy bunch in the bar area next to the restaurant. Could do with a partition between the bar and restaurant. However this was not the case the next night and we had a good stay.

Very friendly staff lots of children at wedding we attended who were made very welcome nothing too much bother.

Its location against price is perfect
