Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Room was dated and smalll. However, we had a great deal so we ceratinly had value for money. If I had paid full proce I would have been disappointed with the room ( number 123). |

The hotel was well placed and very comfortable. Nice breakfast Parking for only 25 cars and so long walk back to hotel late at night after looking for parking spot! |

The location and views of the bridge were good with helpful and friendly staff on hand. The room decor, in particular, the bathroom is in need of refurbishment. The self serve cooked breakfast was of a poor standard with cold/luke warm plates. |

Close to relatives and accessible to village shops.Good for walk to bridge. Relaxed atmosphere. Room allocation did not match with website description. Gorge view disappointing. After moving room there was no phone or Tv remote and the mini bar was empty. |

Getting out and going to the harbour and local restaurants. The room was classed as a village view, it was actually overlooking a main road?? |

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and always most helpful. I personally prefer to stay in older hotels as they have more character and the rooms are quirky and unique - and the woodwork is solid! |

Just the fact that it was so convenient for the university Nothing really bad, just needed a bit updating on the decor side of things |

The location, with a large terrace overlooking the Clifton suspension bridge. Our spacious room also had a view of the bridge. The hotel bar was also open to the public and so we had to compete with the crowds to buy bar meals. Also, the crockery in the room had not been washed properly and the surfaces were only superficially clean. |

the hotel was very good it was comfortable and in a good place not too close and not too far from the centre of bristol. Would recommend it. The pub next door was comfortable and the food excellent and reasonable. The breakfast let the hotel down. We waited over 40min for toast and eggs and when they came they were cold. Glad we did not choose to eat in the hotel for our evening meal. Would not trust the food or service. |

Lovely hotel and the twin room was a good size, much larger than others I've stayed in. Free parking which is a boon in Bristol. Slightly pricier option but worth every penny for the location and bridge-view. There was a 'continuous 'boiler'-type noise at night which we couldn;t trace but possibly came from the kitchen area by the terrace and beneath our room. |

The hotel is situated in a landmark with an outstanding view of the Clifton bridge and the river Avon. The bar and café are very good and the staff quite helpful. |
