Very comfortable bed. Close to work. Good staff.
Warm, nice comfy bed. Good value.
location was ok close to town centre, rooms nicely decorated, new carpet etc. They have tried hard however there are issues which need sorting.
a pain for parking, lots of traffic noise, freezing cold room, bed felt damp cos of the cold.shower was a trickle though they did say they were sorting this out. I didnt like being asked for cash! and I really didn't like the slugs in my room. yes I have the pics. I should have slept in my car.
The owner was friendly.
Arrived and nobody there to greet us, had to telephone the owner and wait for him to come and let us in.Nobody there to supervise or look after residents, had no sleep due to others fighting next door all night, me and my daughter were frightened and nobody there to call for help. My car was damaged by the people who were fighting, no cctv to show who done the damage to claim. Very stressfull and upsetting stay, was scared for myself and my daughters safety.
Clean, comfortable and comvenient. Excellent breakfast!
Very nice.comfortable sleep.very welcoming and friendly staff.thankyou.
Good pub grub up the road, refurbished room comfortable and clean.
Continental breakfast disappointing when expecting full English and felt compromised on time as owner keen to get to work. Also not living on site at present so felt slightly inconvenient.
Excellent value for money. Very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast in the conservatory. Quiet night even though I thought the traffic might be an issue. Soya milk and fridge supplied thank you. Upgraded room looks fab. The rest including the one I was in was quite adequate but new owners fixing tired accommodation.
Quite secluded but owners will be back soon. All rooms full so not alone. Entrance has restricted view so keep your eyes peeled. That's due a make over too. Book early because soon you won't get it.
comfortable bed! For a continental breakfast the choice was good and the grounds were fresh and pleasant. staff (the owner lol) was friendly and helpful - busy road close by but wasn't a problem overnight. very easy to find - lots of plusses really. brilliant little pub close by with really nice grub...........
I found security light outside the half glassed door a little annoying even though the curtain was quite thick (the addition of a blackout blind would solve this and its personal preference only so not really a criticism!!)
This is a fantastic en-suite room with great value for money if you are looking for a place to sleep and relax. I have stayed in other more luxurious places in the area before but will always come back to Avonhill from now on - such friendly and helpful owners and as I say fantastic value for money!
It as all great!
Good Welcome - Text Communication with details of booking
Sign needs to be seen better from road - Not clean - not enough room in toilet&shower room to swing a cat - Picture shows bungalow but your are actually staying in chalets, picture should show this. B&B but breakfast is extra?
Very small bathroom (with 3 slugs) Noisy highway
Room was clean and tidy , bed was comfortable
Access into and out of the property was dangerous . Road noise was constant . Extra visitors to the room ( slugs)
Friendly and family feel to the place!
No Service, Run out of all essentials ie sugar, milk tea coffee soap towels, there was no-one on hand I was there completely alone, i thought the price was for B&B but had to pay extra for cereal and coffee the first morning after that i didn't see anyone again even 5 days later when i left.
A beautiful rural / country location. Run by a lovely family, all very helpful people; Best price and value for money in 25 mile radius. Comfortable room, very pleasant; T & Coffee in room - great! excellent breakfast. I wouldn't book anywhere else when in Midlands. 10/10 from me - thanks you Paul & Jackie & Mum & boys.
There was nothing I didn't like; I knew it is near a main road - so what. Its lovely & quiet from 7/8pm onwards - which is when I was there. The family have owned Avonhill B&B for only a few months, and it is under a long term upgrade programme - all success to you.
Paul and Jackie were extremely helpful, even to the point where the came to find us when we we lost. Local pub the Hollybush, run by Adam and Sarah provided excellent meals and service. Within walking distance from Avonhill.
Location free parking friendly host
Road noise Dated building Poor quality towels
The staff were so helpful and kind. Very accommodating of my needs. Very good value for money. Great location for where I needed to get to. I will stay again when I have more business in the area.
They can't help being off the dual carriageway so it easy to go past the first time. However they have just got a new sign which is going up soon.
Very basic needs refurb no 1 lives on site
Road noise Toilet/shower facilities
Bed was good. Plenty of hot water. Towels were good. Owners were very helpful. Good value.
Entrance to site from one direction only. Rooms were a little cramped. Only walkable drink/food 10 mins away down country road.
