Nice hotel in quiet area. Very near Russel Square and Esuton Tubes. Rooms are a bit in need of a revamp but are clean and comfortable. Imagine staying at your Gramdma's house. We had a room that looked out onto the street and were not bothered by noise in the slightest. Breakfast good with a range of English and Continental items. The best thing about this hotel is the staff - very friendly and welcoming. Would use again. Nothing. Even if you wanted to complain, you wouoldn'tbecause the staff are so nice

The hotel is conveniently located ten minutes from the metro and train station Pancras and Kings Cross, in a safe, pleasant and plenty of food and fun, besides the British Muesu which is a must. The hotel service is excellent, everyone is very courteous and helpful (a differential of the hotel), especially Alex who gave us great tips for tours and shifts the beautiful city of London. For those seeking location and good service this hotel is the best tip. Only the breakfast could be served a little earlier.

Perfect for a weekend-trip to London: location close to the Russels square underground, local food shops (for buying dinner or drinks for eating in the hotel in the evening), some restaurants as well as post office nearby. Calmly placed in greenery area, quiet and comfortable rooms.

Room was very nice. Staff were nice except the lady in the breakfast room. The lady in the breakfast room can only understand english with eastern Europe accent otherwise she won't see as english. She said "Cooked breakfast" as "Cold breakfast" for four times. After that she said us don't understand english.

Very helpful staff, very clean room, nice breakfast (cooked english breakfast, cereal, toast, butter, jam, yogurt and fresh fruits), tea & coffee facilitiesin the room. Also, they gave us a triple room although we had booked a double one :) We had a little problem with the water, it was either too hot or to cold, but we figured it out. There was no hairdryer in the room, but the receptionist gave us his own.

The location was superb, close to several stations of the tube in a quiet place with a view at a garden. Wifi connection was good.Breakfast was ok. It was difficult with heavy luggage without a lift. The single I stayed in was a small room. I could hear everything what was happening in the room next to mine, even steps. Moreover, I think the hotel was pricy.

Very friendly staff, and location. Rooms are clean and tidy, with good space in it. Not a fancy hotel, but you wouldn't expect it to be with those prices, so no complains.

The price is reasonable, breakfast fine and staff were helpful. The rooms are tiny, ok for a very short trip or for a bed at night & a shower. No room to swing a cat!

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was lovely. Tv and range of channels in the room was good. Excellent location - close to tube stations and busy high street, but slightly set off the main road to ensure a quiet night sleep. The dated shower and bathroom facilities. Some holes in the wall and some of the light fittings weren't working. Poor ventilation in the bathroom. However, for the price and location these are minor problems and to be expected for the age of the building. Overall I was very pleased.

I had a triple room for myself and that was nice. Enough space and good beds. The room was very hot the first day, but they turned down the heater and the second day was better. I had a window, but because it was on the street side it was a bit noisy when I opened it.

It is such a terrible runing down and smallest hostel I have even stayed. I will never recommand it. The use of the word "hotel" is really misleading, it is just a very tiny and poor back pack style hostel and it provides a terrible conditioned room for a very high price of over gbp85. It only worth 30 or less...

Of course one cannot compare British infrastructure to the German one, but keeping that in mind, the hotel is perfectly fine. Everything: toilet, shower, sink tabs (warm and cold) where ancient, but functioning well and the water was clean and drinkable. Windows are a little drafty, which is not really comfy in winter, but the radiator worked (to compensate). Rooms where cleaned everyday to satisfaction - no bugs, no dirt, no dust. The people working there do care very much about your well being and also prepare a decent breakfast. On the whole, one can say, for being in London, it's a nice small affordable hotel with good tube/train connections - worth a recommendation.

Hotel pictures do not correspond to reality! Rooms are extremely small! 1 bedroom is just the bed space: claustrophobic and the bathroom that you can not move. Decadent , old, need to be renewed to charge the price . On the same street there were other hotels at the same price level but much better conditions. Hotel cancelation policy is 48 hrs that makes it impossible to cancel your reserb Cation when you arrive and see the installations. I do not recommend , despite the efforts of the staff to minimize thevsituation.

the location is great (only ten minutes walking if you get to london in king's x), close to many bars and shops and just a few mins from the centre by underground) and the hotel staff is helpful. The breakfast is very nice and rooms are nice and clean, daily service. I'd definitely recommend the hotel, regardless the very few details i wasn't happy about small room but, more than everything, very old window not closing properly (fresh air coming from the outside in a chilli november day), bathroom clean but not very comfortable (shower uneasy to use if you didn't want to wash your hair), just one towel available. No hairdryer in the room, but you can ask staff to borrow one

Close to Euston and Kings Cross St Pancras £130!!! For this hotel, what a rip off. The room was clean enough, not spotless, but the hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Our bathroom had no shower gel, bath mats of hand towels and was so small, you had to get dried in the bedroom. The worst part of the stay was the couple who arrived in the room above us at midnight, the floor boards creaked and you could hear every footstep. The couple left at 3am, it appeared that they may not have been using the hotel for the same purpose as I was!! I will be far more careful in choosing a room in London in future, I stay away a lot and this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, it was a desperate last minute booking and one I will regret for quite awhile.
