Christchurch Harbour Hotel & Spa  

We loved everything! Our room was gorgeous, immaculate and had everything we needed.The staff were lovely, very helpfull, cheerful and made you feel important! The food was nice, we ate at the Jetty resturant, that was delish < recommend. The spa was so relaxing & you could spend as long as you wanted in there. We stayed here as we had a wedding to attend on the Friday eve and then decided to spend the weekend in Christchurch. We had no intentions of doing anything for our weekend and so were really happy with everything in the hotel.Highly recommended!

The staff were fantastic. We were made to feel we were the most important visitors. Food was delicious and we loved the decor in the restaurant.

We couldnt stay longer and the weather wasn't ideal- nothing you could do anything about. Hope we get the chance to come back again.

Room with access to garden.Small room but really well furnished and euipped. Spotlessly clean. Great food in the Hotel and The Jetty.

We stayed over May Bank Holiday which seemed to have come as a suprise to the Hotel.The service was dreadful in the restaurant and on the sun deck we had to ask 3 times for the cushions for the sofas.Crockery and glasses were left there for 2 days. The staff were willing but just couldn't cope.

A bit further out of town than we imagined but not really a big problem. Breakfast on Monday morning was appalling. It took ages for our order to be taken and when it did eventually arrive it was pretty dreadful. It looked like my husband's breakfast had been sitting waiting to be served for a long time, the beans had a skin on them and the egg was burnt. My scrambled eggs were only just warm, very overcooked and for some strange reason had a slice of lemon on top! We noticed a lot of other people who were not happy either. The breakfast was fine on Tuesday morning but it should really be fine every morning. Also, it would have been helpful to have sample menus in the rooms for the restaurant meals.

Received a call only the day before we were due to arrive about building work and restaurant being closed which gave us no time to look else where if we wanted to . Spa needs a larger area for relaxation.

major refurbishment going on in the main restaurant which we were not told about until we arrived for a 3 night relaxing break. Function room had been made into the restaurant but hot food was being brought through reception area from the kitchens which wasn't ideal.Bit like a building site with tool boxes in reception(at times) and drilling and hammering with lots of workmen around.We should have been informed about this as it spoilt our well-deserved break from work.

I was staying in room 109 and accidentaly lrft my tracksuit there I have sent 2 e-mails asking if it could be returned to my address but have had no reply It is a bit too far for me to travel down to pick it up. Iwould have no problem paying the cost just would like a reply as aftercare is also important.

Our room was cold with inadequate heating. Very poor, considering the standard of hotel.

The attentive staff, excellent food and service. Comfy beds.

Never have I been asked to pay a £2.50 surcharge for use of a credit card, I opted to use my Debit card. I think charges for CC should be absorbed in the overall cost. I do not sgree with 10% surcharge being added to the food bill - this should be at the discretion of the diner.

The view was fantastic!

There were weddings on both Friday and Saturday it took over most of the hotel.

1) great location 2) very friendly staff & helpful when asked 3) facilities in the hotel were good

1) room too small & too warm as a consequence 2) decorating going on during stay & main dining room not usable 3) slow service for afternoon tea in main dining room (we had to ask for our champagne after others servced before us!) 3) staff did not read breakfast card properly & got wrong orders both mornings

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Very clean, well decorated, well furnished. Food terrific. The only luxury hotel I know selling real ale!

Room 314 near kitchen and very noisy. A bit too far to walk to Christchurch centre.

Friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous spa, especially loved the pool and salt grotto. Gym good. Spacious and comfy room (bronze room). Lovely lounge area. Great breakfast. Lovely location. A really great stay - would definitely stay again.

Light switches were a bit random - hard to work out which switch did what! Temperature in room fluctuated from quite chilly in the evening to hot and stuffy overnight.

Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The Jetty Restaurant served amazing food, which I would highly recommend.

The breakfast was a bit of a let down considering the price you are paying to stay there but it was still ok.

The spa was very relaxing and the views are beautiful - its our favourite hotel!

We enjoyed the spa and location.
