Nice friendly couple who owned the place. Good parking on what could be a busy road - couple of nice restaurants close-by recommended by them
Good for overnight stop close to Prestwick, with early morning flights catered for by very short walk and train ride. Very comfortable room, and great value in superior room.
clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast, halfway between Prestwick and Ayr
tad far away for not avid walkers
rooms were lovely and good size, breakfast was good and all good value.host was welcoming and told us information on where to go for drinks etc...
it was a little way out of town, about half hour walk, or short taxi ride
Friendly and attentive service from owner. Great breakfast, good Wi-Fi signal, very clean and comfortable. Cant beat it for value for money.
I liked everything
Everything was excellent x
Staff great , room big, lovely breakfast, location
Traffic noise , lumpy bed. Double glazing needs upgrading, no lift
A spotless B&B with excellent facilities, delicious breakfast and owned by a very friendly and welcoming couple
Good access to the train station, comfortable room, good breakfast, John and Denise were very friendly and helpful.
For £100 plus £4 per person for breakfast, it was not value for money. If we had paid £60, that would have been a fair price. Really disappointed by the out dated room, the bathroom of which was falling apart. The shower fixture was coming off the wall, the shower door wasn't secure, the towel rail was coming off the wall and generally the bathroom reminded me of something you would expect to find in a hospital. Location wise, great in terms of being five mins from central Ayr, but road noise was dreadful throughout the night. The bed (two singles adjoined) were very uncomfortable. The only upside was breakfast which was good, but there was no atmosphere in the room. Perhaps some backing music would be an idea? The hosts were reasonable but not that friendly or chatty. We did expect to pay a bit more with it being the Commonwealth Games, but you do expect the facilities to match or at least go some way towards.
Owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and facilities. They were flexible with breakfast times to suit our days out. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Our room was large and spacious
Nothing comes to mind
