We had 2 rooms, in different locations in the hotel. One was excellent, - quiet (apart from the seagulls!), very clean, warm, comfortable. The second room we had was quite satisfactory apart from the its location above the bar. Unruly and loud guests, were abusive when asked to be quiet and kicked the bedroom door several times. What happened to the 24-hour cctv advertised?

Handy for bus station Good supply of tea and coffee Clean and comfortable My room was taken but transferred to a double room. Difficulty with tv but staff fixed it quickly I set the fire alarm off as I had difficulty setting the radiator. I had mentioned the heat to the girl who showed me the room but she did not take note.

Clean warm room, low price. Jill in the bar a welcoming host. Although the room was indeed quiet the bar immediately below it included very loud music til 1230am on Saturday night, followed by terrible karaoke. Kitchen not one I would cook in. Business is fundamentally a bar with rooms as an add on. Some other clients' noise/ behaviour were appalling - perhaps to be expected at this price point.

Not for me, was very much like a hostel for the homeless, would not use again and would diswade others to use. Grufness of staff who greeted me when I arrived

Felt very comfortable in this friendly establishment. We were very pleased that we had parking at the rear of the property, which was important to us. Also, all the places we wished to visit (the Burns Trail and Dumfries House) were all nearby. So excellent for the tourist. Nothing much to complain about. Just a wee bit "tired" decor, but still okay.

We only took this hotel because it was very close of the airport of Prestwick. This hotel is really noisy. We could ear music in the bar below until midnight and people talking and shouting in the street. The room was clean but there is a poor old armchair which has to be replaced.

It was more of a hostel than an Hotel but it was clean and the staff were friendly enough. there was adequate parking on the street but it was metered and that meant running out early as they operate from 08.00 to 18.00. The en suite was adequate but unfortunately, I had n't read the part about no breakfast provided although there was a kitchen where you could make your own if you were that way inclined. It suited my requirements for a couple of nights.

All you could want for a comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable, tv worked, bathroom was clean and the facilities to cook your own meals is great for someone on a budget. For the price, you'd be hard pushed to find better.
