the breakfast was lovely.. plenty of it as well... the sitting room & drinks machine was very good..the b&b location was good for seafront & buses..
the b&b was next to a pub & over a shop, which both had deliverys very early in the mornings , which were very noisy..which disturbed our sleep...
The communal lounge with tea and (good quality!) coffee constantly available. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helpful.
The room was very well appointed, and the bathroom was large and very clean. A comfortable bed and good sized room, a very good breakfast and a superb welcome form the staff. A really good stay in accommodation right opposite the sea.
The entry key machine - we were warned that it did not always respond and one has to keep pressing the 'C' button, which was a bit worrying in case this had not worked late at night. (In fact, there was no problem)
The breafast was excellent , cooked in front of you in an open kitchen , the staff were very helpful land friendly
We were in a room at the side of wetherspoons pub , so was a little noisy
Staff are so nice and they allowed us to keep our room on check-out longer. Room is nice and warm. Breakfast is great. We had full English. It was cooked to order and you can have your eggs anyway you want.
Bathroom window would not close right up. So it was cold in the bathroom and wind is blowing in.
The central position was ideal - the room had a great view over the Bay and was a good size. An excellent breakfast - all at a very competitive price.
Being central did mean that the noise levels late at night had to be endured.
If you use a walking stick like me, there are too many stairs. was first shown to a top floor room, but was move to next floor down. still a bit to far up.
Everything about a guest house
Dogs staying at the guesthouse
Pretty much everything. Great value, clean and superb staff
Noise from the revellers on the sea front in the early hours, but what can you do!!
Location/breakfast all really good and good value for money situated in a fantastic place. Enjoyed our stay
In the top room was very warm up there and couldn't keep the windows open as a Saturday night with people shouting coming out of the pubs.. No win situation
Residents lounge with free Tea/Coffee and Water. Good location Nice staff Comfy bed
Poor pillows A bit tatty in places
The lady in charge was fantastic - very helpful and friendly. She should get a pay rise! Seriously. Really. Great breakfast facilities and service. 10/10.
Everything was white!
Spacious room and relaxing community lounge. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff. We felt completely at home.
Sadly it was very noisy every evening outside, especially the motor bikes which seemed to be racing around for hours. Our front room had a wonderful sea view, as requested, but we would probably ask for a back room if we visited again. The double glazing didn't help- shame as it was a lovely room
Size of the room Quality of furnishing and finish Spotless new bedding Great breakfast Very helpful staff Internet free and fast Parking permit provided to park in street nearby Late check in Brilliant lounge with free coffee machine tea and quality biscuits Free bottles of water
The location was ideal, being on the seafront, also next to the parade of shops. Very convenient, as was the bus service, just within five minutes walk, ideal for buses going along the Jurassic Coast, from Lyme Regis to Swanage. A brilliant way to visit these places, especially if you go upstairs on the bus, you have the whole panorama of the countryside, which you don't necessarily see in a car. A few minutes walk to the Harbour where you can take a boat trip out to sea. A lovely walk along the seafront towards Preston was also very enjoyable. A lovely place for walks, as well as beach activities.
Because of the central location, I imagine in summer, this could be a bit noisy with so many tourists. Also the Witherspoons pub bang opposite. I visited in September, so this wasn't such a problem. Other than that, not much else. Oh, just one other thing, there was no lift, so you need to be fairly fit to reach the top floor!
Liked everything within the building... Staff, food, etc, etc etc,
Parking facilities... Was a little hit and miss with little on street availability.... This was ONLY downside for me.
We booked for 1 night but were so impressed we stayed for 2. Breakfast was substantial and well cooked. Catered for my 4 year olds needs. Very clean and friendly staff made us feel very welcome.
Second morning there was a delivery van parked just under the window and he left the motor running which woke us up. This could have been just an unfortunate occurrence .
This place had everything you could wish for a lovely stay
Noisy room, request one at the back of the building.
Clean, friendly, good facilities and location was great. Very very friendly staff.
As this is a beach front resort, there was a lot of noise from 1am onwards so really didn't sleep well at all. Don't be put off though, I would recommend this hotel.
excellent location, staff very friendly and efficient.Exellent breakfast
Stayed in room 14 but could not get much sleep as due to the location of a bar opposite the room very noisy until the early hours of the morning. Also one small critisism was although there were some window dressing to the bottom of the bathroom window, felt that this could be extended to cover all the window as felt very conscious when taking a shower. An alternative could possible have a blind fitted.
We loved the location of this property. It was very clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were small but organized and there was room for everything. We were able to walk everywhere from here and parking, though not onsite was close by and easy access.
I absolutely loved the Lady Michelle who welcomed me and my boyfriend to the b&b she was lovely and so helpful.. Made is feel right at home! Me and my boyfriend have already decided thats the place we will be staying everytime we visit Weymouth!! Couldn't ask for anything.better!!
Service excellent. Staff very attentive. Very friendly atmosphere.
Although location Is excellent, as with any town location it is very noisey with late night "revellers" and early morning deliveries. It is still the best place to stay, this was my sixth visit.
Excellent Breakfast Facilities' in coffee lounge Very good.
