Cleanliness, excellent breakfast, interesting history of the house.
Parking facility is limited.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Landlady helped my daughter out when she was waiting to move into her new flat, and my daughter felt very comfortable there.
Can't fault anything except the breakfast sausage, but I appreciate this is a matter of taste.
Owners were really friendly and helpful especially when my partner somehow managed to lock us out of our room. Room was perfect as was the breakfast and the location. Had a good nights sleep too will definitely stay here again.
Car Parking is a bit of an issue as it is limited but the owners ensured all guests were parked and able to move our cars the following morning in order to leave
The helpfulness of the proprietors .Gave us a lift to the zoo,as the buses were diverted due to the marathon. Breakfast was A1. Beds were so comfy. Very clean. Would recommend .
the hosts are first class, the hotel is spotless, the room was lovely, the beds are very, very comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic the ba ba guest house is our first choice to stay at when we visit chester without a doubt..highly recommended
there is nothing to dislike about the ba ba guest house...
The building was pretty on arrival, close to the train station (we walked 5 mins) There was a lovely pub over the road as well as bus stop. The room was clean, tidy with a big TV on the wall and a lovely big double bed!
We were on the top floor and the bathroom was very small.
Welcoming staff Early check-in Clean and quiet room Excellent breakfast Great location
Clean and friendly. No one bothered us but there was always someone around if you needed anything.
Very friendly and clean and the location was great for Chester with local bars and shops plus the Zoo is only 5 min drive away
We liked everything!
Free parking place. Good breakfast.
A little bit far from the city center. No elevator.
Good location to Chester city centre (15 min walk) but also very close (2min) to local high street with great places to eat and drink that offer value for money. We had room 6 at the top of the house and it was fabulous; Queen bed, large TV, lots of space and an en suite. The host (June Smith) was very friendly and gave us info and ideas on where to go and what to do. Breakfast was excellent. Altogether a great base that was well priced.
Hardly an issue really but bathroom sink small.
It is a house with notable personality. English breakfast was great and breakfast room was very nice. The owner is wonderful. We arrived quite later than announced and she paciently waited us and provided all kind of information and recommendations. Parking is a plus. Location is great, just 15 minutes walking from historic downtown of Chester.
We stayed in the family room and bathroom was quite small... but not big complain about it.
Helpful staff and warm welcome. Good location. Interesting history of building. Good food. Good value for money.
Room floor on 2/3 levels. Lighting in room was dim.
Owners gave us a lift into town when we checked out.
Shower went cold while I was in it making it a chilly start to the day..
Lovely and friendly couple made me feel really welcome.. Great clean room and breakfast was amazing!!
Friendly service and helpfulness from the owners. Off road parking Walking distance to train station &city centre Close availability of resturants bars etc for dining out
The room was very spacious and light, the bed was very comfy.
The friendliness the minute we arrived. How clean the whole place was. The quality of the place. The location was superb for walking into Chester and discovering other areas of the town like Hoole. Will definably be returning both for couples getta away and with my young family.
Wasn't too keen on the separate bathroom(but that was my choice to for the price) will book en-suite next time.
very friendly and kind staff lovely house, cozy room huge typical English breakfast
you can hear some noise from the other rooms and from the outside
Over all friendly atmosphere great place to stay
Comfortable and well furnished room. Free parking.
We booked a double room with a sofa bed for my 4 yr old through Booking.com. When we arrived we were told that there wasn't a double room with a sofa bed and we had been upgraded to a family room for an extra £15. In retrospect I should have refused to pay this, but it was late and we were tired.... The cooked breakfast was very average. As vegetarians we were not offered any meat substitutes as is common in other establishments. 10.30 am checkout is a little mean.
The lady at the guest house was very helpful and generally 'lovely'. We loved the area of Chester where the hotel was and never went into the City at night. We didn't need to because there wwere nice bars and restaurants within 5 minutes.
Our room at the top of the house was very warm. We couldn't open a window because of the traffic noise. It would benefit from an air conditioning unit.
Very interesting place, and we were made to feel very welcome. Room was excellent and very comfortable.
Friendly welcome, excellent breakfast
