Room was excellent, distance to city centre was perfect and the next day the owner made us some food to go as we had to leave early excellent service all round

The staff at the Ba Ba made us feel very welcome, the bedroom was immaculate, clean and the refreshments were plentiful and most welcome at the end of a busy day. I would definitely recommend the Ba Ba as a place to stay and really close to the historic attractions of Chester. We also had excellent evening meals locally on the recommendation of the staff at the Ba Ba.

I could not believe how good it was for the money, June was very friendly and helpful, the room was amazing and the bed was super comfy. I stay away often and I have paid 3 times as much in hotels not half as good as this!!

Nice people and friendly. The whole place was very clean and tidy. Only 10 minute wallk in to Chester, so made it ideal. Or you could jump on the bus outside the guest house. Nice breakfast - plenty of it to set you up for the day.

Might of been a good idea to tell you how to get to the car park as you have to go down a one way system to get to it. We did work it out quickly but if you was travelling in the dark, or a bit tried you might find it hard to find. The sat nav doesn't take you to the car park entrance only the front of the guest house. But it wasn't a major problem.

Very nice stay and great value for money!

I stayed in a twin room with my 16 year old sone. The room was comfortable (room 7) but an unusual layout long and narrow with single beds at either end. Maybe not the best layout but very comfy beds nonetheless. The breakfast was bth fresh and served in nice surroundings.

The hosts were very accommodating and the guest house had a wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it to friends and would stay there again when we go to Chester again.

Some of the furnishings need updating, but is generally high quality and didn't detract from a very enjoyable stay.

Pleasant Guest House close to the city centre. Room was clean, large, comfortable and well appointed with a good Wifi connection. Managed to get in the small car park, although if the place was full you may have to use a public car park 50 yards away.

Let down by the breakfast a bit. Bacon was cold, the "mushrooms" was 1 mushroom sliced up and I was given the smallest portion of beans I have ever seen. This is not a cheap place to stay, so I would have expected a better breakfast. Everything else was fine.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Some of the roads were closed and the owner rang us the night before to advise us of this and to recommend a different route.

I had a warm welcome upon arrival. I was able to check in early as I was going to a wedding a needed to change. The room was a lot bigger than I anticipated, with freeview, wifi and lots of space for me to get ready. The bathroom was really clean and the shower was great. Breakfast the next day was really good and I felt really relaxed, even as a solo traveller eating on my own.

There were quite a few light bulbs that weren't working but nothing that would affect my stay.

Traditional upmarket British guest house. Very friendly hostess (June) who can't do enough for you...very flexible on breakfast times as we got up late.... Breakfast was great.....even gave us cheap tickets for the Zoo

Nothing really....shower room a bit small for a family room, but clean. Could replace the busy carpet in the breakfast room with a wooden floor...would look much more elegant !!

Spacious room,comfortable bed,good location to chester.

Left towels out as requested to be changed,they were not changed.coffee,milk not replaced leaving us with no drinking facilities.
