The owners were fantastic, very hospitable and friendly. The facilities were great, immaculate room and bathroom. Breakfast excellent with a good choice, in addition to a full breakfast. A few minutes walk to Oddicombe beach and cliff railway and Babbicombe Downs. Highly recommended-will stay there again if in the area.

Breakfast. Close to local buses.
Seagulls partying on the roof late at night and early morning - room was on the top floor. (nothing could be done about this).
The owners the room food was very good.
As soon has we entered, we were greeted with friendliness. our first impression of our room, was a lovely décor and how clean the room was, and the whole hotel was spotless. The food was great, and was spoilt for choice. Would recommend this B/B.
There was nothing that we did not like.

Good location, lovely room and facilities, good breakfast, friendly and helpful proprietors.
The rooms were well appointed, lots of nice touches (dressing gown & slippers), recently decorated and beautifully clean. Breakfast was hearty and well-cooked
A warm reception clearly wasn't on the tick list of the tourist board inspector that awarded this Guest House the Silver Award for Customer Service that is proudly displayed in the hall way. When I arrived at 9.45pm to check-in I was met with a very frosty reception from the two owners clad in their nightwear clutching their cocoa "you should have given us the common courtesy of a phone call if you were going to be late!".. "But check-in is until 10pm according to the website so we're not late!" was my bewildered response. My sister was met with a similar reception on the previous day when she apparently tried to check-in too early... "You can't check-in now - your rooms aren't ready!". "But the website says your check-in is from 2pm". Was my sister's equally bewidered reply. "No it's not - it's from 3pm - come back then" and the door was firmly shut on her. The list of 'Do's and Don'ts' was endless - it really made you feel you were under their roof under their terms and conditions and were a bit of an inconvenience being there really e.g. "Breakfast is from 8am to 9am but if you want a cooked breakfast your order MUST be made before 8.45am." I'll stick to the Premier Inn in future where I can check-in when I like, I don't get a teenage-like lecture on check-in on what I can and can't do, I can lie-in until 9am on a Sunday and still get a cooked breakfast and I can plug my straighteners in with a free conscience (one of the numerous Babbacombe Guest House rules refers to the use of these...)
Everything top notch!
I booked into the Babbacombe Guest House as I was in the area for meetings across three days. The owners were welcoming and accommodating and couldn't have been more attentive. I'd read some reviews prior to booking that started that they had seen some negativity towards children. Whilst I stayed there were several children staying with their parents and the owners were more than welcoming to them. I stayed in room 5 on the top floor and it was perfect for me. It has a few low celling corners but you quickly get used to these. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and the owners were exceptional. Breakfast is fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.
there's nothing not to like!
The breakfast was superb. Very friendly atmosphere. Spotlessly clean all round.
Guest house was spotless, good food and very welcoming
