Amazing service and facilities Lovely food Beautiful rooms and grounds
Wireless was poor Service charge for every round of drinks
Amazing rooms. Afternoon tea complimentary between 3pm and 5pm
We had a burst pipe which took our hot water out. However the staff were so helpful to ensure our stay was not effected. So not really a negative!
Lovely bedrooms and good wholesome food.
Dinner menu almost identical to lunch menu. Having stayed 9 years ago, nothing has changed. Think it looks very tired now and not as slick as it was before. Gym very old and dirty. The floors in bar area need attention.
I love the instant feeling of relaxation as soon as reception take your car keys till the moment that you checkout. A night away can do as much as a week anywhere else. The evening meal this stay was exceptional too.
The staff service was exceptional the food was superb, the treatment centre and Cinema were a delight too.
ermmm nothing - other than we were not advised prior to our stay that the the indoor pool was NOT in service which we felt was disappointing based on the high standard of everything else.
Loved it all.Didnt use the spa-not enough time-looked a little dated. Staff very helpful, pleasant and courteous.
Ladies bikes a little too big for me.
Good experience in Babington House.
A disaster in terms of effective booking. We received a call from Babington House the day before our booking informing us that booking.com had failed to email them regarding our booking for 5 January and they had no rooms left. They booked us in at a local inn which meant we were obliged to travel on 6 January (my birthday). Disappointing, particularly as we haven't heard from bookings.com with either an explanation or apology. Apparently no-one was available to talk to Babington House Saturday 4 January.
Beautiful buildings. Fantastic rooms. Loads of great facilities. Very relaxed and cowshed staff were fantastic.
Food is just ok... Loads of flies in bedroom & 12.5% Service charge on everything and it's not optional.
The little luxurious touches. Well thought out comfortable accommodation and a bonus to have bicycles provided. A lovely restaurant which was not overpriced. Attentive staff.
Nothing to dislike!
The Whole very essence of the Sohohouse experience It's Charm, Charisma, English-ness & personal attention to detail
The out door pool and complex with the bar beside it is great... My wife loved the spa. It was our first stay over and The Coach House was really impressive..we had room 12.
Ability to connect by mini lead or by blue tooth to a music system - relying in MTV/tv channels isnt great for sounds. We have iPod and HTC with Spotify so it just needs connecting to a small quality system - eg SONOS.
