No complaints at all.Excellent restaurant meals and breakfast Staff very pleasant and helpful
They do cater for weddings so noise may be an issue at those times.
Staff were lovely, welcoming and very accommodating, room was well presented with extra pillows if needed, nicely laundered fresh towels etc etc Recommended for a nice quiet stay
Hot breakfast finished at 9.30, but on the plus point, there was still plenty of bread for toast, cereals and coffee
A warm welcome; accommodating staff that cannot do enough for you; a menu that is superb & comfortable, spacious rooms. It was a wonderful experience & I am looking forward to staying here again.
Room was comfortable and clean
The evening meal was terrible, the food was overcooked, there was only one other table taken so it was obviously not busy.
The staff we very friendly and attentive. They even offered to store my motorbike in their garage overnight if I wanted to. Excellent value for money.
For what I paid, I can't complain.
Great Value Friendly Staff Comfortable Home from Home atmosphere
The staff were very friendly, the room was a good size & very clean with excellent facilities. The food in the restaurant was also very good.
The room was bright and airy, the bathroom was a nice size, not too small. We were there on a Sunday and didn't realise that they don't do food on Sunday nights, but the staff pointed us in the direction of a pub down the road with good food within walking distance. The owner was particularly helpful when I needed to fix some buttons the next morning. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, especially good after a good nights sleep! We would quite happily stay there again.
Comfortable, clean, and good customer care.
No extracter fan in shower
I was staying for just one night visiting family in Hinckley and there was a wedding party with a disco into the early hours. As I wasn't part of the wedding party I was given a room at the far end of the hotel so that the music wouldn't disturb me and I couldn't hear it all in my room. The room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed for my one night's stay. Would definitely recommend it as a pleasant alternative to the faceless chain style of hotel.
The room was clean and well appointed the staff were friendly and the food was excellent I would highly recommend this hotel.
Nothing, everything was very good
Good Food, friendly staff, good price
room over front door and getting woken up at 1:30am by a late night reveller returning to the hotel
large bedroom, very quiet, comfortable bed. lovely surroundings, would definately return we were there for a wedding, the staff were very helpful and resolved the one issue we had regarding the lack of a full length mirror
only one small bathroom and dressing table mirror, had to use a mirror in another room thought the breakfast was overpriced, but it was cooked well.
Stayed at this hotel for anniversary and birthday together, nothing could be faulted, room excellent, facilities very good and every meal we had was really enjoyable
There were no negative points whatsoever
+ Really clean and comfortable rooms. + Staff are really welcoming and attentive. + Great food

It was warm and clean. The breakfast was just what I asked for and delicious.efficient and friendly staff
Bed was a little hard for my taste, but a very minor quibble.
Large, clean, well maintained room; comfy bed; friendly staff. Didn't try the food.
Location ok if you have transport or just want to walk in the countryside, but nothing worthwhile within walking distance.
Very peaceful location.
Having to lug my case upstairs.
Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We even got to use the swimming pool as it was an extremely hot day in July.
Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Good food in comfortable surroundings. Excellent value for money. Quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to go back when we next visit the area.
Nothing. Perhaps the offer of a morning paper so I didn't have to go out and get one, but then I like being out and about early!
All staff very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All facilities of a very high standard. Meals well prepared with a varied menu. Presentation was super.
Loved the character of the place. Large bedroom and bathroom. Great facilities with bar and restaurant.
