All the staff and locals were very welcoming , they created a friendly atmosphere .
We stayed in the Rother room, the room was a good size and the bathroom was very big with a big bath (no shower). The bed was very comfortable. The staff were really nice and very helpful. We had an evening meal that was excellent. We would happily stay again.
The window is single glazed so there was a fair bit of noise from the road. Some secondary glazing would be a good addition.
The food was excellent, amazing liver and bacon!
Somewhat temperamental shower, just needed to keep it running!
Lovely old building. Sloping floors. Enormous grand bathroom. Amazing artworks on every wall, and interesting decor. Modern coffee pod machine
I need a shower rather than a bath. (Too fat to get out and no handles). The bath had a hand held shower head but nowhere to hook it up. It was usable though and looked fabulous
Easy parking , fantastic hosts, good food
Room was nice, breakfast good, brilliant bath y
Paper thin walls, no standup shower
This is a lovely place. Great location, comfortable room and the food was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others.
Location Ambience Friendly helpful staff Restaurant quality dinner Good beer Fantastic spacious and comfortable room Lovely breakfast
Room was a bit warm and it was difficult to have a window open. TV was a bit small for such a large room as I was a long way away.....!
We liked the quiet rural setting, the off-street parking, the friendly and helpful staff, the clean and comfortable en suite room, the tea tray and WiFi, and the proximity to area attractions. The breakfast was excellent and served in an attractive dining area.
We liked everything about Badgers Inn and found nothing at all to dislike!
Very nice and friendly establishment, artwork around the building interesting and the building itself is is lovely and styled really well. Staff friendly and helpful, will go back when in the area!
Very comfortable bed, huge bathroom;delicious dinner and generous breakfast. Very importantly the staff were to a person helpful and friendly. We would certainly return and would recommend Badgers to our friends.
Our only quibble was with the A road Badgers is on. If we return we will ask for a rom that does not overlook it.
Excellent breakfast included. Very friendly staff and homely interior to bar and restaurant area. Good quality food and wifi.
Room cold overnight as heating was off.
We loved the friendliness of the staff/guests/customers. Our dinner and desert were delicious. The breakfast was very tasty. The added touches re; cookies, orange juice, fresh milk, coffee etc was wonderful. The bathroom in the courtyard was huge!
We really didn't like leaving!
Staff were lovely. Very friendly and couldn't have been more friendly We had both dinner and breakfast and both meals were delicious.
No proper shower. Just one on the taps, with very poor pressure and no shower curtain.
Welcoming staff. Very pleasant room. Great food, both evening meal and breakfast.
very unique - lots of character - and very spacious - the bath was huge
it was a little bit dusty behind the bed - dropped something and thats when I saw it - not a big problem for me - but could be for others - floor is very uneven/slope and a little bit odd when walking around the room
We enjoyed patio area and the food was very good. Hospitable landlady and staff.
the food, the staff and the atmosphere
First of all, the bathroom! I had a lovely soak in the tub which really made my day! It was a nice room, good size, comfy bed and a coffee machine! It had everything I needed and more. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. I would definitely recommend the place, and if I ever need to visit the area again I'll be staying there!
The setting and friendly people
Nothing to dislike.
The staff were superb as was the welcome. The food, while limited, was very good. The atmosphere in the bar was very nice. It was very quirky with a shabby chic attempt, unfortunately for me it was more shabby than chic!
Lack of comfort in both the room and the bar. I found the downstairs bar area very smelly and shabby. In the room, curtains off the hooks. A net that did not quite fit the window and had seen better days. Windows and ledhges dirty and mouldy. Cupboard that housed the fridge was very dirty on the inside. Just a general air of neglect for me. Bed not comfortable as it sank and you rolled together. Pillows too hard. I like old but I like clean. Sorry
Food and service excellent at dinner and breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful. Location is good for sightseeing although I was on a business trip
Not much you do about but it is close to the main road so noisy
Staff, Food, Room - All great
Nothing, a lovely Inn that I am sure to visit again
The staff were most friendly and the menu was excellent and very good value for money
Very friendly staff. Building full of character.
Room and bathroom had slightly sloped floors due to age, which sometimes caused slight dizzy feeling.
