Nice location, clean and friendly. Very helpful. Nice closed off car park. Sadly Slow service at breakfast, don't think 1 member of staff was used to serving 10 people at once. Was friendly though and polite though.

Location Dreadful reception , kept waiting at door for several minutes, went in then wife kept waiting forseveral minutes. Entry to front door side door back door into and out of garage all by difficult to operate key codes. Breakfast in 'adjacent house cafe with sticky plastic table cloths, This is not a hotel quality establishment and offers zero breakfast all for £120 per night!! Never again--we stayed over 2 nights Lincoln was worth it. The 'hotel' certainly NOT!.

The location is superb for visiting the Cathedral and old city. The fruit breakfast was much appreciated. We had some problems with our bathroom. Whilst very spacious no thought has been given to the provision of shelving and storage space for toiletries. The shower is very outdated and not at alll reliable unless cold water is one's preference! Being partly disabled after a stroke, a grab rail would have been desirable, espcially with so high a bath. We feel that a little extra work on these facilities would enhance a stay.

There was a lovely comunal area, where there was free tea and coffee facilities and a array of games etc. the beds were extremely comfy. The staff were very accomodating. The curtains were all requiring some attention in our rooms and also some lightbulbs needed renewing. Would have liked breakfast to be included.

The Location is brilliant for the castle, catheadral and old Lincoln, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms had a touch of luxury and very comfortable. There was a slight odour coming from the drains in the bathroom.

Our accommodation was to a high standard and luxurious and with its location in the city centre, a good stay. The member of staff was very informative and welcoming. The availability of secure car parking, albeit on a first come basis and oversubscribed, onsite was useful if you didn't intent to leave during the evening. No fault of hotel but guests who returned in the early hours and were noisy in courtyard area, smoking etc and waking guests. Hotel could remind incoming guests at check in to be considerate on their return late at night.

The vintage style and the surroundings Was disappointed to find the tea room closed due to staff illness as we walked outside to where it was and walked past reception who did not bother to inform us she seemed to busy talking to another member of staff, also the toilet seemed to leek all over the floor when was flushed and alot of dust in the room.

The young staff were very friendly and helpful. On first impression the room was lovely, four poster bed, huge carved cheval mirror, cast iron fire place. Clean white bedding Enclosed car park. Key pads for security. Close to Cathedral etc. I would recommend it despite the comments listed below, because of its novelty, staff and location. Poor maintenance. *Bedroom: Curtains not hooked to rail properly. Soiled seat on chair. Bedcover material damaged and pulls in the fabric *Bathroom: Both plugs not fitted, lying on chins. I repaired one myself Poor decoration and repair Old dust on skirting boards Small window peg missing, the other one hanging by a loose screw Had to clean the bath before use Towels not white, looked grubby Studs missing from under toilet seat and the varnish broken and in need of replacement. This is very unhygienic *Understairs wardrobe area. Very bad smell in there at times as if it was next to a toilet.
