Good breakfast choice. Plenty of free car-parking. Complimentary bottled water in room.

Would have liked shower cubicle instead of roll-top bath with hand-shower attachment, although admit latter more in keeping with Regency period building!

Nicely decorated room. Loved the 'Slipper' bath in the en-suite. Easy access into the city centre via the number 13 bus.

Would be nice if breakfast in bed was an option! The breakfast time could be extended - 8 until 10 perhaps?

The location was good the garden was pleasant my friend liked the champagne with breakfast. good supplies of tea and coffee in the room

The room was dated and grubby - my headboard was dusty which was a real turn off. My duvet was too heavy and to big for a single bed. Pillows not very good and I really didn't sleep

Good location, buses or £7-00 taxi to the town centre. Breakfast is everything you could want plus a glass of fizz to tickle your fancy. Nice gardens. Car parking.

Had twin room which was fairly small but adequate but worse it did smell of cigarette smoke, naughty previous occupants..... Wifi to rooms, but slow (minor niggle)

You stay in a small piece of Georgian heritage. The setting is very pretty, the staff are helpful, and a tasty breakfast is provided.

Our bedroom was smaller than on a previous visit (but it was a popular time of year and seemingly a full house).

The breakfast menu had a varied selection and tasted lovely.

All you could hear in the breakfast room was the staff talking and laughing! Vacuum left outside our bedroom all weekend!

The Lodge is separate from the fancy hotel which means you don't get the hotel facilities but in return it is a wonderful, quirky, quiet place with a large and incredible garden. The managers were extremely helpful and enthusiastic. Regular bus into Bath centre passes within a few minutes walk and so could leave car at Lodge and easily travel in and out (and benefit from being in quieter area).

Not so much didn't like as quirkiness was part of its charm, but the bathroom attached to the large garden suite we had low ceilings so showering etc posed a certain challenge (in other words, if you're over 6 foot, consider booking one of the other rooms).

Lovely friendly staff. Good clean and comfortable room and very quiet. No need to take our car as there are regular buses running into town and much cheaper than the car parks!! Would definitely stay again.

Only downside there was no shower!!!

The welcoming and pleasant manner of the manageress. The spacious and comfortable rooms-like a home from home-but far more elegant.

The b+b was very nice. We stayed in a four poster bedded room. Very spacious.Breakfast was excellent lots of choice. Staff were helpful and friendly.

It was a little further from the city centre than I hoped for. We had to bus it, back and forward. Also the room was a little hot so had to sleep with the window open, which meant the road close by was a little noisy.

Amazing stay made to feel like we were at home, the location was great just on the outskirts of bath and the bus service was frequant.
