This was the best bed and breakfast place that I have been to, a touch of luxury and very clean and tidy and the owner was very friendly, and I would recommend any body that is traveling in the Ely area to stay at Baileys Springfield's could not find anything wrong

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Springfields. We were made to feel very welcome, Dawn is lovely host and the service was impeccable. The B&B has a cosy feel to it and our room was immaculate.

Very nice room. Comfortable double bed. Outside the window in the back garden wild birds came to feed. A rare one came, perhaps a morehen. There was a bird reference book on the window sill to consult. Quiet room. Nice breakfast room. Enjoyed cooked English breakfast. Included tasty Newmarket sausage. Forecourt good for parking. Easy distance from Ely, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. Would stay there again.

Warm and very comfortable room with good view of garden which is visited by a variety of wildlife. Very hospitable owner and excellent breakfast. Too many ornaments and photos of the host family around and no public lounge area to relax in or socialise with other guests.

If you want the personal touch Baileys is the place to stay. Room luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean and warm. Breakfast superb, cordon bleu standard. View from my bedroom window was out of this world, with birds, squirrels and a hare, a wildlife enthusiasts dream!! Will definitely be back!!

Starting with a friendly phone call the day before, which meant we were able to arrange to arrive in our own time & let ourselves in, through to the delicious breakfasts, we would definitely recommend Baileys. It's a lovely 40 min (approx) country walk into Ely - ask for directions- don't walk along the main road. And an easy drive to Wicken Fen. Not a dislike, so much as surprise at how close to the A road it is- however, because of the way the rooms are situated, there isn't any sound of traffic.

Dawn & Derek were very friendly and helpful, offering lifts into the town and generally being very warm and welcoming. Nice little touches in the cosy bedrooms (e.g. notelets, magazines inc. ones about local area, crocheted milk jug cover!) and lovely to have a cosy robe to snuggle into in the evenings.

Lovely Lady. Good breakfast We felt that the room was small and extremely cluttered. The rest of the house was also cluttered with ornaments and frippery. It was NOT value for money.
