Location was perfect for access to Victoria Station. Rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fine. Tea and coffee makers included in the room. Ensuite was very modern but miniscule. The hotel overall is a bit shabby. Even by London standards, the room was just too small and cramped. There is no lobby.

I liked the fact that an electric jug & tea-making facilities were provided & a hair dryer - not always available at budget B&Bs. The young man who works there, Ali, was extremely helpful & very nice & I think he is an asset to Bakers b&B. The location was very good & close to the Victoria Stations. The bathrooms were always clean which was good. I didn't like having to go down stairs to go to the bathroom - next time I would try to get a room with ensuite facilities.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Excellent shower. Good localization (8 min to Victoria Station). Good breakfast. Free internet. Small breakfast room, we had to wait... If you go with old people, ask before for a room at the first floor (as we have done), because there is no lift.

Some of the other reviewers have been a bit harsh - this place is just fine if you're looking for a cheap, clean B&B for an overnight stay near Victoria Station. Free Wifi, clean, cheap - you get what you pay for, this place fit the bill I did not have the breakfast, so cannot comment

Location. Difficult to climb the stairs - ok for me but an older traveller would find it difficult. Didn't like having to have my credit card swiped again at reception - for 1p. There were no services to pay for and only agreed because I wanted to go to the toilet!

The location is excellent, less than 10 minutes walk from Victoria station and underground, the price is very good for this location, and the receptionist has been nice and helpful for us. There were 2 small details that could be easily taken care of and make the room much better. First, the shower is fixed in an inconvinient way and it would be much better if it had more rotation. The second thing is that the hotel's door bell and people chatting in the hallway could be annoying sometimes; not a big deal though.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent ten minute walks from various land marks. For London prices of hotels you can't go wrong with this hotel. Rooms were small but very clean, breakfast was basic but ideal for early start! We were able to leave luggage in breakfast room on day of checkout. Hotel near victoria station and we walked to west minster abbey and Buckingham palace too!! We would definitely stay there again, thank you :-)

Hotel staff were very helpful from the first minute of our arrival to the moment we left (thanks Brian). The room was ideal for our stay - clean & tidy with a central location for all the venues we wanted to visit during our stay in London. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends & family. Give it a try - well worth the money spent!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy. I would definitely return for another stay! The rooms were a bit small, but that's normal for this type of hotel and it wasn't too bad.

I read the reviews and thought,....... Hmmm. I am pleased, however, to say I was pleasently suprised. We rang the bell. A very polite, pleasent and friendly gentleman answered. He was oppologetic in informing us that our room was not ready (we arrived at 11.30am booking in time was 2.00pm so no problems there) but said we were welcome to rest in the dinning area where we made a cuppa. Our room, though compact, was clean. The bathroom, likewise. All the staff were as per the first member we met,..Friendly and polite,... Inquiring as to our stay, were we comfortable etc. Arriving by bus the location for me was great. As an Australian visitor I have to say that this Hotel would unlikly qualify for a 3 star but by British standards.......,.In all, as a budget hotel I would have to say, yes! Would I stay there again.....Yes! From a negative point. Dining area is very small. Breakfast;- adaquate. (Cereal, juce, toast and tea) No lift. Stairs seemed narrow.
