Balavil Hotel  

a nice room,spacius with two cumfy seats,good big carpark opposite hotel,friendly staff,lovely dinner with big platefuls and good breakfasts.

advertises a swimming pool but at reseption notice states to use pool it costs £5 to use, bit steep if you want a half hour dip, as a hotel resident it should be inclusive in your booking.

Ilmainen parkkipaikka tien toisella puolella, ravintola, huone oli lämmin ja lämmitys toimi. Nettiyhteys ei toiminut huoneessa, piti mennä aulaan. Sauna on päällä klo 8-20, tosin ovi oli rikki eikä saunaa harmiksemme lämmitetty lainkaan.Relatively friendly staff, warm room, heating was good free parking.

Breakfast was not good as it was said on the website and there were "internals problems" that prevented cooked breakfast. It seems to me that it is hotel's policy to save money since others have previously noticed the same. There was an akward smell in the lobby. We booked this one to be able to go to sauna, but the door was broken and we couldn't go there. Internet in the lobby only. It was said that sauna is free but it would have cost 5 £/ person.

The location was absolutely beautiful.

Thestaff were very attentive.

Nice walks around the kettle hole watching the ducks and the heron. Nice countryside and the pool and sauna was a great treat at the end of the day.

The hotel is a bit tired looking and very outdated

The Staff were excellent very helpful,the room was ideal for any one who is there for the outdoors,very nice breakfast with choices,a good location next to bus stops[if required],The swimming pool is a bit small but has a sauna which is ideal to unwind or wake you up.
