The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was a bargain for what we got. Good bar food and the swimming pool was an unexpected bonus, albeit an enlarged bath. I think all hotels in The Cairngorms have poor TV reception!! Made watching Eurovision that bit more entertaining... Also expect loads of coach trips here. Good thing or bad thing?? |

I only stayed at this hotel overnight having arrived late and left immediately after breakfast the next morning. The location suited my requirements,it was inexpensive,the staff were very friendly and helpful,the room was clean and comfortable and the food OK which is all I look for for such a short stay. |

the friendlyness of the staff . service was first class. very relaxed feel about the hotel. could do with renewing the floorboards in corridor as the squeaked loudly every time some walked along corridor, most annoying when trying to sleep |

The price. Boiler had broken before we arrived so the pool was closed (main reason we booked this hotel was for the pool) and the radiators in the room didn't work - heating supplied by a portable electric heater. Luckily it was warm the days we were there so heating not really a problem. A week earlier and it may have been quite different. |

I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful,The buffet style breakfast was excellent and it was served from 7.30am which was ideal for me for an early start skiiing. |

The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. It was nice to use the swimming pool Walls were thin but hotel guests were not noisy |

Generally all was good with this hotel, although the double room booked was not available and a twin room was offered as an alternative; a bottle of wine was offered as compensation which was nice. We especially enjoyed the tennis on offer. We booked an extra night and moved to a double room, ok except paper thin walls, you would here a pin drop in adjoining room. Still good value for money. |

Friendliness of staff, made us feel very comfortable, choice on menu and choice of where to eat in the evenings ie in the restaurant or more leisurely in the bar area Rattley windows and creaking floorboards, we heard everyone moving around - but charm of hotel outweighed this preferred to modern souless rooms |
