Das Hotel ist einfach und sauber. Das Essen vorzüglich. Man erreicht von hier aus schnell St. Andrews. Crail hat einen hübschen Strand um mit den Kindern zu verweilen.

Freundliches Personal, große Fenster mt schönem Meerblick, sehr gutes Frühstück, gemütlicher Pub mit Restaurant.

Nice room with great views towards the sea and isle of May, set in the lovely location of Crail. Great breakfasts served in the mornings. A really well run hotel.

I liked that me and my four teenage children could have a family room and breakfast for £110, great value for money, making an Easter break a possibility as other hotels in the area were much more expensive, an ideal hotel for a short break and a cracking cooked breakfast the next morning. Not a luxurious option in terms of facilities but the room was excellent, just what we needed and I would recommend it highly.

The staff were friendly, Hotel was clean and warm, breakfast was very good. location was just right for our friends to visit Anstruther and St Andrews.

Excellent place for playing golf within the east neuk of Fife having two great golf courses within a short distance from the hotel. The food was great and vegetarian choice as well. The room was good size too.

Only one niggle. The toilet seat was designed for female use only, it seems. It would not stay up and kept falling back on the pan!

The room was large (room 12) and had a view out towards the sea. It was clean and comfortable. We were impressed with it. Although the bed seemed hard we found it comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good and nicely cooked.

The outside of the hotel was a bit drab along with reception and we wondered whether we had chosen correctly, however we altered our opinion when we saw the room which was well appointed. The hot water takes quite a time to run hot however there is plenty of hot water once it comes through.

We (wife, husband and two grandchildren age 10 and 7) enjoyed our stay enormously. The hotel was clean, the food was good, the location nice, but, above all, the owner and his staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We shall go back again!

The room was spacious considering there was a king sized bed and a set of bunk beds in it.

The description of the family room was misleading. We stayed in the first floor family room which should have had views over the village and sea. It didn't. We had a view of the roofs of an joining housing estate. Also, there was reported a restaurant - there wasn't unless bar meals classify as a restaurant.

De ligging aan de rand van het practige kust- en havenplaatsje Crail. Ook uitstelende ligging t.o.v. prachtige linksbanen ( Balcomie). De kamers werden keurig onderhouden. Prachtig uitzicht over zee. De lounche en bar zijn gezellig.

Het is een gedateerd hotel. Meubels en voorzieningen zijn oud en enigszins gebrekkig. Oogt alsof er onvoldoende middelen zijn om renovaties uit te voeren. Je hebt het gevoel in de wereld van de jaren vijftig te stappen. Verder allegaartje aan spullen en meubels. Schimmel in de randen van de douche en bad en achter en in de voering van de gordijnen bij de buitenmuur. De ontbijtkamer is ronduit ongezellig. De diner en lunchkaart is sober. Prijs - kwaliteit niet in verhouding.

Large bedroom & bathroom with wonderful sea view. Car park at door. Very close to beautiful East coast fishing villages and nearby Cambo Estate gardens. Short drive to St Andrews.

Wi-fi. Good breakfasts. Nice and warm throughout.

No comfortable chairs in room. Restricted menu.

The location was ideal for exploring Crail and the surrounding area.

Hotel was basic

Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and accomodation was very clean . It was central for travelling to other coastal towns ie St Andrews , Anstruther etc. It was very relaxing to sit in the lounge and have a drink in the evening. Children were welcome.

Room was a bit chilly at times.

The hotel provided for a specific dietary requirement. Staff friendly and helpful.

The price was too steep for what it was

Too few bathroom bits - just a couple of shampoo sachets and no soap Could have decaf coffee/ herbal tea
