clean and tidy , freindly , good location , easy access to oxford centre , good breakfast , cheap and relaxed. little bit old fashioned (not really a criticisim though), T.V. a bit old and small (again no real issue as wasn't there for the hotel entertainment). |

Sorry to say its quite hard to think of any good points...Parking was a plus...but only if you get there early enough...breakfast was good...everything else was basic. Not enough staff around...desperately in need of updating...didnt like there was only a bath in the room...the cost too expensive for what it presents. |

car parking excellent,location of hotel to town,breakfast good. only saw one staff member who dealt with us and he didnt seem overly friendly or helpful,i would like to mention that we left early at 7am on the sunday 20th september as we had a prior engagement so we didnt have breakfast however we were still charged the full amount-i feel that a least a little money shoud have been knocked off or an offer of an earlier breakfast maybe. |

It was very quiet, a ghost town most of the time. This meant that I was able to get a good night's sleep. The TV only offered the basic channels: BBC1,2, ITV1,Channel 4 and Channel 5. |

Atmosphere in the hotel was very friendly. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Good location: within a walking distance to the city centre. Free visitors parking is an added bonus. The biggest let down was an extremely low water pressure in the shower which made washing very inconvenient- you spend ages in the bathroom. Also -it is almost impossible to set the right temperature of water- its either too cold or boiling hot. Traffic noise may be a problem for some people who are not used to it. Those who dont like strong scents should beware as the air fresheners in the hallways work on their full power- quite nauseating.I also had an incident with a hair 'baked-in' my scramble egg but got a new portion with apologies- still think their chef should wear a proper hair protection. |
