Location was convenient
It was like living in a building site. Building materials stacked in the entry hall and electrical wiring sticking out of the wall. There was an extra bed in our room that looked as though it had been stored there temporarily. Hard, lumpy mattress.
Friendly staff. Massive room.
Average breakfast Thin room door meant very noisy.
close to a metro stations, stable wifi connection
cleanliness - very poor, breakfast - only eggs, beans and bread (very poor), facilities - very old
Tv made horrible noise... My room was on the so called Euro hotel 2 Stayed for 3 days never changed the towels. Reception was on another building (Euro 1) an no one was usually there.
Friendliness of staff
Size of room ,inadequate lighting ,noisy guests ,lack of bath mat ,not enough blankets ,no door pull ,no hooks on bath room door .
Sheets were clean Nice enough scrambled eggs
1 pillow each, as flat as a pancake, no mattress protector on bed, bed solid and noisy, carpets dirty, no bedside cabinet or lamp. Bathroom steps dangerous, disgustingly dirty toilet brush in bathroom (health issue) shower glass edge filthy, also sink overflow filthy I could go on, no acknowledgement from any staff at all
they stored our luggages for one day for free.
Ideal for us as a one night cheap stop over
Horrible cleaning, hairs on the floor, bathroom poorly cleaned, trash bin still with trash... Bad breakfast facilities and very very limited choices. Easy lock on the room
I live in a Double bed room, Room 2. Big and clean Room With Wifi is very good Breakfast is good Traffic is convenient. Close to ShepBush Underground
Noisy because of close to the noisy street; Better select the room off the road Smelly becaue of newly painted walls. No Air-conditioner for the moment. Will be a problem in Summer.
Wc old not very clean. Wifi slow Cleaning of the room, got to my room only the bed was made, trash on the trash bins, left overs in the fridge...
Only staying for one night!!!!
Room allocated not in booked hotel but neighbouring hotel! No curtain on window. Room not very clean! Cracked and broken tiles in bathroom. Ceiling leaking in two places. Cup with broken handle. Floor in hallway dangerous as broken floorboards. Breakfast limited. Dining room inadequate for the amount of people. Reception staff unavailable when needed. For the amount we paid very overpriced as it felt more like a hostel than a hotel!!!!!!
I thought the value for money was very good especially being in such a central position
Access to the hotel wasnt the easiest.
Hygiene was ok. Breakfast was ok. The location near the Eventim Apollo theater is perfect. The bath tub was kind of ok, good fast watersupply. Friendly staff willing to help out. It little things would be carried out this could be a good place
I am disappointed with the Wifi reception. With a few signal repeaters this is easy to solve. They are not expensive and help out very well. The scrambled egg preperation for breakfst needs more attention. It was not good at all. Bath tubb-crane needs to be tighted as well for the sinc crane that also missed a water plug for shaving. Very thin pillows. Bed table lamp not able to plug in, too short wire. No chair. Lack of spare plug. Very poor lock of the room. Mold in bathroom. Stuck drawers. Shower holder lose. Toilet sitting lose.
The hotel was under maintenace but it had clean bathrooms with hot water, big TV, good WiFi connection and comfortable beds. Apart from public toilets, every room has it's own toilet as well. It's close to 2 underground stations and there many places nearby where you can eat and dring. Across the street there is also a super market. The breakfast was good and the staff was polite.
My duvet had dirt stamps on it and probably the room service didn't notice to change it. The floor is wooden and no soundproof at all. My room was right under the breakfast room, so i woke up everyday because i could hear the chairs from the breakfast room scraching the floor and that's why i rated quality of sleep poor (not because of the beds). The walls need to be painted.
Staff were friendly. It was easy to find. Great if you just want to go out in the day. Room was very spacious.
It was in a poor location if you want to go out on the evening.
Free wi fi
Towels and bedding not changed often enough. Coffee in room not replaced as necessary
Very noisy could never sleep at night Bad wifi connection everywhere Poor breakfast
No air condition so we need to open windows to a very busy street. We stayed at the ground floor next to the entrance where other guests were smoking.
Value for money
The heat in the room.
* strong moldy smell in the room * had to buy toiletpaper. * couldn't hang towels anywhere * wifi coverage was bad * wifi unreliable * breakfast was a bio-hazard with reused butter and jam
Good value for money! Good if you just want somewhere to sleep and refresh. Spent one night at Hotel Balkan while in London for an interview. We were located on the very top floor - it is clear that the hotel has recently done some refurbishments to the property. The upstairs has all recently been painted and the en suite was new. the staff were very friendly. It is very basic but good value for money. There is free parking on evenings and weekends and is located within quick walking distance of Shepherds bush underground station which will take you quickly to central London.
There was no tea spoon to make tea / coffee and my tea cup was chipped. Also the double and twin rooms that our small group booked only had one towel in each - minor complaints. Overall a good stay especially for the price that you pay - would stay again.
Near to Shepherds Bush Empire and Hammersmith Odeon for concerts. Was fine for a one night stay.
Room security not inspiring as door didn't seem too sturdy. Took advice left in room to leave valuables with reception. Wifi a bit intermittent.
The place is wonderful, at least 2 underground lines near the hotel (5-10 min by foot). Very quiet place The staff really welcoming and nice. If somebody wants to buy some food- you are welcome -- it's Sainsbury near the place. The beds comfortable and room is large enough to 3 adult people
Very simple breakfast without much to offer Wi-Fi isn't available all timehe t
The tube station is near and all important sightseeing places are easy to reach. Wi-fi is excellent. The receptionist is very kind.
The breakfast was the same every day, and the kitchen staff was very slow. Not enough place to sit. Room wasn't so clean, a lot of dust.
